Gidi Grin­stein is the Founder and Pres­i­dent of The Reut Insti­tute, a non-par­ti­san, non-prof­it pol­i­cy-group based in Tel-Aviv. Gidi served as the Sec­re­tary and Coor­di­na­tor of the Israeli nego­ti­a­tion team between Israel and the PLO in the Office and lat­er the Bureau of Prime Min­is­ter Ehud Barak (1999 – 2001).

We discuss the potential involvement of the Palestinian Authority in the reconstruction of Gaza and how Hamas can be marginalised.

Augustine has written about how Hamas was found guilty of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (CRSV) both during its attack against Israel on October 7, 2023 and against Israeli hostages in Hamas captivity by the United Nations. Yet our public networks, the ABC and SBS, have chosen to omit or diminish reports of the sexual violence committed by Hamas. Why have they effectively sanitised the crimes of Hamas? (0:00-29:15)
