Blood Bikes Australia is a 100% volunteer based organisation, inspired by a similar service in the UK, Blood Bikes Australia was founded in 2019.

One of their principal client organisations is Lions Eye Donation Service, which operates under the auspices of the Centre for Eye Research Australia.
At the request of Lions Eye, Blood Bikes volunteers in Victoria started delivering corneas and sclera for transplants some eighteen months ago and since then have made more than 250 deliveries, with runs happening several times a week. listen to learn more.
