The nomination came from a listener in Perth. After 36 years of shamanic work, Kaye knows the difference between being recognised and being on purpose, and only one of them keeps you moving.

Why doubt and fear keep you stalled, and how to defuse the hold they have on you
How to trust your inner voice of knowing like a GPS, even when you can't see the whole route
Why true sacrifice is an act of reverence: surrendering doubt, fear and the need for control
What the caterpillar knows about transformation, and why the old form has to dissolve first
How The Gift in Adversity documentary moved from years of delay to completion once the right changes were made
The daily practices that strengthen your inner guidance: heart intelligence breathing, power questions, prayer and gratitude
Why you are the conductor of your own energy, and never as unsupported as you feel

S2E43 - Courage Before Certainty

Navy veteran Jeanette Holland spent 34 years holding everything together. Today she uses sound healing, the gong and neo-sonic frequencies to help people release trauma and grief without having to put it into words.

Jeanette joined the Women's Royal Australian Naval Service at 17 and became one of the first single mothers in the service. Military discipline taught her to put grief away quietly and completely. Over the years she lost two husbands, her parents, her brother and her daughter. Her Complex PTSD went undiagnosed until she left the uniform at 58, and then everything she had been holding surfaced at once.

At 60, a pituitary tumour became her turning point. Psychiatrists and group work led her to a shamanic retreat in India, and from there to the gong.

Kaye and Jeanette talk openly about what happens when sound reaches the places words cannot.

In this episode:
Why sensitive souls often choose the most disciplined paths
How trauma held in silence surfaces in the body once the structure falls away
Gong healing, chanting and neo-sonic frequencies as a way to release trauma without words
The responsibility of working with sound and energy, and why aftercare is not optional
How repetition through mantra and gong meditation breaks down old neural pathways and creates new ones
Supporting people through grief, loss and death
Walking a shamanic healing path without claiming the title of shaman
Why it is never too late to accept your gifts

Jeanette turns the usual question about the inner voice of knowing around. She serves it, rather than it serving her. That shift is what allows her to hold space for others.

What have you been holding in silence that is ready to be heard?

S2 E42 - From Navy Silence to Sound Healing

Everything carries energy. Every word spoken, every page written, every crystal, every gift, every person, place and teaching you let in.

Energetic care turns you into a powerful tool, the vessel that you are. It gives you discernment, dials up your inner voice of knowing, and empowers you to guide yourself toward what expands you and what is being revealed.

In this episode, Shamanic Leadership Coach Kaye Doran reveals the power, importance and necessity of knowing what your own energy feels like, so you can feel the truth within the words you hear and read, and know in an instant what belongs to you and what does not.

Most people have never been taught to feel their own energy. So they absorb the thoughts, feelings and even physical sensations of others, and live them as their own. A message can sound positive and still leave you depleted. A teaching can use all the right language and still carry a frequency that feeds false stories and beliefs.

The words are the surface. The energy behind them is the truth. The delivery is the wrapping. The truth is what is contained within.

In this episode:
Why knowing your own energy is essential, not optional
How to become a clear vessel and a discerning one
How everything you take in has the ability to impact you
How to feel the truth within words, spoken or written
Why labels like "empath" can keep you from true energy mastery
Why embodying the essence matters more than learning the language
Simple daily shamanic practices to clear and protect your energy field, including cutting the cords and heart intelligence breathing

This is an invitation to become the authority on your own energy. To trust your body as a barometer for truth. To stop outsourcing your knowing.

When you know what your energy feels like, you will always know when something is not yours.

What have you been carrying that was never yours to hold?
What are you allowing to infiltrate?

S2 E41 - Know Your Own Energy, Know the Truth

What do you do when you hold a vision no one else can see yet, and it takes twelve years to become real?

In this episode, Kaye Doran sits down with John Spender, founder of the Journey of Riches anthology series and creator of the multi-award-winning documentary The Gift in Adversity. John carried a single idea from 2011 to 2024, through the loss of an early manuscript, years of self-doubt, and being turned away at the door, and never let go of the knowing that it was meant to be real.

His story is a living map of what happens when you refuse to dismiss your own inner knowing. Unable to read until age nine, John went on to publish over 45 books with more than 450 authors across 50 countries, with royalties supporting a children's home in Bali. His documentary, featuring Michael Beckwith, Dr. John Demartini, Jack Canfield and 21 other global thought leaders, began as imagined conversations on a vision board and became the real thing, one aligned step at a time.

Kaye and John explore the courage to act before there is any evidence, the compassion that adversity carves into us, and why the willingness to keep going is the proof. This is a conversation about vision, devotion, and the quiet authority of trusting what you know long before the world can see it.

The power of change is in your hands.

S2 E40 - An Idea, a Vision, and the 12-Year Journey to Making It Real

Authenticity isn't a switch you flip. It's a descent through the layers and an expansion through consciousness — and many do not recognise either, because the mask isn't hiding them from the world. It's hiding them from their own potential.

The real shift isn't authentic versus fake. Everything you express is authentic to where you're operating from in any given moment — it's a scale, like a piano. The mask isn't a lie; it's the lower octave, the note you play when the subconscious false stories are running underneath. And here's the part that changes everything: energy cannot be hidden. Whatever note you're playing, your energy carries the truth of it. The question is never whether you're being authentic. It's which octave you're choosing to live from.

In this episode, Kaye Doran takes you through the actual layers — professional masking, the unconscious patterns beneath it, and the deepest layer where you stop resisting who you are. Sharing openly from recent experiences and real conversations, she draws on 35 years of working with energy and presence to map how conscious awareness moves you out of catastrophising and looping thought and back into coherence, often within minutes.

She explores:

Why being authentic in professional settings costs you nothing, and why the mask is the expensive choice

How subconscious false stories quietly run your energy, your presence, and your decisions

The moment she stopped fighting who she was, and what a Maori woman's vision confirmed about her path

Daily practices for returning to your own energy and regulating the nervous system under pressure

Why your absolute uniqueness is the entire point, not the thing to smooth over to fit in

This is authenticity as energetic truth, not personality performance. Not "be yourself" as a slogan, but the actual mechanics of how masking drains you and how presence returns you.

The truth is beyond the shadow of the belief system.

S2 E39 - The Layers of Authenticity

What if the breakdown in modern relationships isn't about love, but about who you become before you enter one? In this episode of Inner Voice of Knowing, Kaye is joined by Lezly Kaye and Laki Mafi to explore conscious relationship, the "Ground Zero" approach to building partnership on standards rather than need, and why both people must choose their own growth for a relationship to hold. A grounded conversation on relationships, personal growth, and conscious relating for anyone ready to relate from wholeness instead of lack.

Lezly and Laki each came to this work through their own divorces and their own success, and recently married each other. They built their partnership not by trying to fix one another, but by each returning to a neutral ground within themselves. They open up the practice of holding space without rushing to solve, the difference between knowing what to do and actually doing it, and how men and women can move out of competition and into their own energetic ground.

The truth is beyond the shadow of the belief system. Most of us carry unspoken agreements and unconscious expectations into partnership, then wonder why it fractures. This conversation is an invitation to meet your relationship differently: hold space for yourself first, and let your inner voice of knowing lead the healing.

S2E38: The Ground Zero of Conscious Relationship

What do you do when your inner voice of knowing says one thing, and someone who believes they know better tells you you're wrong?

In this deeply personal episode, Kaye shares the passing of Buffy, her almost eighteen-year-old spoodle, who communicated a direct, energetic request to be assisted in her transition. When an external animal communicator contradicted that knowing, Kaye faced the exact test at the heart of her work: stand firm in what you know, or hand your authority to someone else's belief system.

She did not second guess it. She called on the signs, and they came. Three confirmations, each independent, each unprompted. She acted before the reasons were fully clear, and the reasons revealed themselves after. This is the heart of the teaching: trust precedes understanding.

The truth is beyond the shadow of the belief system. What carried Kaye through was not certainty in the mind but soulful alignment: intention, compassion, and respect held steady, even toward the person whose message arrived without them. Compassion itself became the discernment. Its absence revealed belief, not knowing.

In this episode:

Standing firm in your knowing: why Kaye held the moment an outside authority told her she was wrong, and how she did it without hardening

Trusting the signs you call upon: the three independent confirmations that answered when she asked, and why calling them in is an act of power, not passivity

The reasons revealed after you act: how the inner voice of knowing works like a GPS, giving the direction before the logic, and why the why arrives once you've moved

The perfect unfolding: how everyone played their part, even the message that arrived disrespectful and ill-timed, which was the very thing that led her to the most powerful confirmation of all

Compassion as discernment: how the absence of it in another's message became the clearest signal to disregard it

This episode shows you what that truth looks like when it's tested in real time.

S2 E37 - Do Not Second Guess Your Knowing

Who are you when the title is gone? David Fish, known as Fishy, went from Chief Strategy Officer to a leukemia diagnosis to rebuilding his identity from the ground up. This episode of Inner Voice of Knowing is about authentic leadership, identity beyond achievement, and what psychological safety actually costs a team when it is missing.

David spent years burying the parts of himself that did not fit the corporate frame. The hot air balloon pilot. The skydiver. The man underneath the strategy deck. The pressure of that suppression eventually broke open in a single, unmistakable moment at work, and what followed was a rebuilding of self that had nothing to do with reinvention and everything to do with return.

In this conversation, David shares the idea of the library of stories: the lived experience each of us carries and can draw from, rather than constructing a persona to survive the room. He speaks to agency, the difference between choosing what you share and hiding what you are, and why psychological safety in a team is not a soft concept but a performance one.

Kaye and David move through the paradox of a world more connected than ever and more disconnected than ever, the trust that only presence can build, and what it takes to stay coherent when feedback, rejection and expectation are all pulling at you.

We are not only in a life of business, we are also in the business of life.

S2 E36 - Identity Beyond the Title: David Fish on Authentic Leadership

Is there a meaning to everything? Does life actually have a pattern and a purpose, or is it all random? In this episode I show you the formula running through it all — the cycles, sequences and design working quietly inside every life, including yours.

Once you can read the pattern, life gets simpler. Not easier. Simpler. You stop fighting the moments that feel heavy or off, and you start reading what they're actually telling you.

I use a single morning of my own as a living example: not because the feeling mattered, but because it revealed the pattern underneath it. That's the point. The design is always there, in all of us, waiting to be recognised.

Below the fold:

Every emotion is a signal from the soul, body and mind that something is out of balance. When you learn the language of those signals instead of judging them, every moment becomes an opportunity for re-patterning rather than suppression. I unpack how the mind programs the brain and lays new neural pathways, why the growth-and-recoil cycle so many people move through is part of the design and not a failure of it, and how conscious awareness of the sequence changes everything.

This is also where The Launching Pad lives - my 12-week journey, refined from 35 years of observing the patterns and sequences that shape a life. It's a reference point for the formula itself: the correct sequencing that makes transformation faster, cleaner and repeatable, because most spiritual understanding overwhelms people only when it arrives out of order.

Listen more than once. Take notes. This one is dense by design.

As I mention in the episode, go back to Season 1 - Episode 25, The Empowered Chakra Journey, for the sequence this one builds on.

Download the free guide, Defuse Your Fears at my website https://kayedoran.com/ -  The work starts within.

S2 E35 - The Hidden Patterns Within Life - The Formula Inside It All

What happens when a capable woman finally stops dimming her own light to keep everyone else comfortable? In this episode of Inner Voice of Knowing, Kaye Doran sits down with Cindy Kennedy — host of the Sass & Soul podcast and creator of the one-woman show Good Girl Gone Rogue — to unravel the good girl conditioning that mutes a woman's inner voice of knowing, and what it takes to back your own choices without apology.

The rogue was never the problem. The good girl was the performance.

Cindy was always an explorer, always the one who made rogue choices and questioned who got to be "the boss of her." But alongside that lived a quieter identity: the good girl who wanted everyone seen and supported, who would dim herself, so others felt comfortable. For years she could activate her voice instantly on behalf of other people, stepping into injustice without a second thought, yet found she didn't have full access to that same voice for herself. This conversation lives in that gap.

She traces the moments that woke her up. The mentor who watched her perform and told her she'd always allowed other people to shine. The night at eighteen when her father gently asked enough questions that she finally let the weight out and felt lighter for sharing pain from her heart for the first time. And the workplace accident, on her dream job as an outdoor educator, where she knew something was unsafe, overrode that knowing to avoid an uncomfortable conversation, and carried the physical unravelling for decades after. The body keeps the record of every self-betrayal.

What makes Cindy's voice land is how grounded it is. There's no spectacle here. She talks about reading what an animal needs the way you'd notice anything practical and obvious, and that same plainness runs through everything she shares. Her message to anyone who feels they've lost their way back: you didn't betray your voice, you simply tuned into a different frequency for a while, and it is always there to return to. The lessons still come whether you listen or not. The voice is patient.

This is a conversation about untangling the subconscious false stories and beliefs that keep capable women small. About joy as a compass, and what it means to follow the thing that comes easily until you know it's yours. About authentic leadership, conscious living, and trusting the inner voice of knowing that was always there. As Kaye reflects, we can only ever be our most authentic self, and that core essence is the magic, never something to design away to fit in.

For the woman who keeps making herself smaller to keep the room comfortable, this one lands deep.

Cindy's Good Girl Gone Rogue show is touring WA, with a national and international tour to follow, and her debut book arrives at the end of 2026.

Available on all podcast platforms.
