Joe is joined by Pippa York to discuss her new book, The Escape, which explores life in the Tour de France peloton as Robert Millar, and her decision to transition to live life as a woman.
Pippa takes Joe through the cutthroat world of professional cycling in the 1980s and explains why she made the decision to dope during her career. After retiring from cycling, Robert Millar disappeared from public life until reemerging as Pippa York in 2017. 
She talks to Joe about coming to terms with her identity and what came after.
