We bring interviews, a very diverse range of music, information about community events and cover special topics of interest to specific sections of community, including students and new migrants, women and senior citizens.

बहुसंस्कृतिक और जातीय मीडिया अब बड़े और ऊँचे संस्थानों से करीबी रिश्ता जोड़ने की इच्छा रखते है। 
यह इसलिए सामने आया है क्योंकि हाल में इन बड़े संस्थानों ने जब सरकार से ग्रांट माँगी तब उनकी लिखित माँग में सामुदायिक रेडियो और दूसरे स्वतंत्र मीडिया का कोई उल्लेख नहीं था। 
अतीत में जातीय, बहुसंकृतिक मीडिया और स्वतंत्र पत्रकारिता, इन बड़े संस्थानों से घनिष्ट सम्बन्ध रखते थे और अक्सर दोनो के बोर्ड या समिति  के सदस्य एक ही होते थे।
 राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर फ़ेडरेशन ओफ़ एथनिक कम्यूनिटीज़ काउन्सिल्ज़ ओफ़ ऑस्ट्रेल्या  ( FECCA) और पूरे देश में कई राजकीय स्तर पर भी इस तरह के संस्थान है।  

कैन्बरा मल्टीकचरल सर्विस ( CMS ) एक पूरे टाइम चलने वाला रेडीओ स्टेशन है- उनकी स्टेशन मैनेजर साधना सहगल कहती हैं, कि इन बड़े संस्थानों का मीडिया के साथ करीबी रिश्ता रखना लाज़मी है।उन्होंने कहा कि इसके बहुत फ़ायदे हैं और दोनों का एक दूसरे के साथ काम करना समझ में आता है।

National ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters Council (NEMBC) और Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) ने मिलकर मई के बजट में और अधिक अनुदान माँगा है ।
