That’s a wrap on Audacy’s seventh annual I’m Listening broadcast in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), and thanks to the free Audacy app, you can revisit the powerful conversations anywhere, anytime.
This year’s special, co-hosted by Audacy’s Katie Neal, TODAY and The Voice's Carson Daly and Dr. Alfiee M. Breland-Noble featured wisdom and realness surrounding the topic of mental health from artists, athletes, and experts. Each guest had their turn for honest conversation about their personal experiences with mental health in a continued effort to raise awareness and support. And we also talked to you, about your experience navigating mental health along with all the challenges and victories.
Those that contributed to this year’s conversation included Selena Gomez, Adam Lambert, Anitta, Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, Ed Sheeran, Gretchen Rubin, Jelly Roll, Jessica Alba, Kelly Clarkson, Lewis Capaldi, Paramore, Richard Sherman, SZA and more.
Additionally, Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy, AFSP’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Christine Moutier, and VP/Health Equity and Engagement, Victor Armstrong joined the conversation to provide real-time mental health and suicide prevention expertise and resources to listeners.
