Former solicitor Karina Berger walked away from the law to become the researcher and producer behind Australia's biggest true crime investigations with investigative journalist Hedley Thomas, including Bronwyn and The Poisoned Wife.

Natascha Consigli shares her raw experience inside Australian prison, privilege at 52, and how employment stops women reoffending.

After 16 months on bail waiting to be sentenced, Natascha Consigli was given 15 months with no parole. She tells Gary what her first night locked up was really like and how prison changed her.
From getting a black eye from her cellmate and refusing to press charges, to realising at 52 how much privilege she'd had compared to the young women inside with her, this is an honest conversation about accountability, rehabilitation and what actually stops reoffending.

Natascha now works with Success Works helping women with criminal records find meaningful employment because it costs $180K to jail a woman in Australia and a fraction of that to rebuild her life through a job.
