Barbara was seven months pregnant, and just a week earlier, she had told her sister she was going back to school and trying to build a better life for her children. What happened in the days that followed remains largely a mystery. How Barbara ended up at the school, who she was with in the hours before she was found, and who killed her remain unanswered. Thirty-five years later, no one has been charged.

Sharbrina’s family had not seen her since May. But weeks later, police said she was seen in another part of the county. What happened after that remains unclear. Searches followed, tips came in, and investigators looked for answers across multiple communities. More than two years later, Sharbrina and Khance have never been found.

The following evening, Zenobia was found deceased inside a garbage can in an alley just blocks from her home. How she ended up there, and what happened before she was found, have not been publicly established. Her cause and manner of death have not been announced, and no one has been charged in connection with her death.
