But on the evening of December 4, following an argument inside a home on Baldwin Street, Jasmine reportedly walked out and was never seen again. She left behind her phone, identification, and other personal belongings despite the cold Detroit weather that night. More than a decade later, Jasmine Moody remains missing, and her family continues searching for answers.

Three women were shot in the chaos, including 21-year-old Sheeyta Elaine Herrin, who did not survive. Minutes later, a second shooting was reported across town, leaving two additional people injured. Investigators said some of the individuals involved in the second shooting had been at the American Legion earlier that night, but exactly how the incidents are connected remains unclear. More than five years later, Sheeyta Herrin’s homicide remains unsolved, and the question of who was responsible continues to linger.
