In this episode of Hunting 4 Answers: In April 2011, as a powerful storm system moved toward Tuscaloosa, 21-year-old Latoya Brown left her home in Northport, Alabama, after telling her family she was going to get food with a friend. That afternoon, she asked a family member for money at a nail salon, then caught a ride with someone waiting outside. It was the last confirmed time anyone saw her. The next day, Latoya’s phone was last active in the Rosedale area of Tuscaloosa, just minutes before a devastating tornado tore through the city. In the chaos that followed, hundreds of people were initially reported missing. Nearly everyone was eventually accounted for. Latoya was not. Nearly fifteen years later, what happened to Latoya remains unknown.
Anyone with information about the disappearance of Latoya Tee Brown should contact the Northport Police Department at 205-339-6600. The case number is 20110500048.
