Police responded to the residence on Musgroves Mill Lane and found Trinity suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators later indicated she may not have been the intended target, but few details about what led to the shooting have been publicly explained. Despite ongoing investigation and appeals for information, no suspect has been publicly identified and no arrest has been announced. More than four years later, Trinity’s family continues to search for answers.
