Jacques Cartier was the first European explorer known to have sailed up the St. Lawrence River which connects the Great Lakes to the North Atlantic Ocean. In 1535, the land along the waterway was inhabited by the Iroquois Amerindians. Enjoy this ENCORE Presentation!
