The Feast of St. Joseph-Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is celebrated annually on this date as a solemnity in the Catholic Church honoring the spouse of the Virgin Mary and earthly foster father of Jesus. It highlights St. Joseph as a model of humility, obedience, and familial protection. He is known as the patron saint of the Universal Church, fathers, carpenters, and a happy death.
