Episode 07: High Performance Conversations with Jayme Richardson

View descriptionShare

Jayme Richardson was banged up from so many injuries that he was living in chronic pain.

After getting bad advice from a physio about his shoulder pain, he realized that most follow a common approach for pain management that doesn’t go skin deep.

Many also let their personal bias towards lifting and training influence how they treat a client...

And overlook triggering factors such as daily habits, well-being, mindset, and just focus on preventing clients from freaking out.

This inspired Jayme to find a better way to deal with pain for himself and for his clients at his fitness consulting business in Newcastle.

Jayme’s approach is to find the real root cause of their client’s problems and work their way up from there so that they can live happy and pain-free lifestyles.

I identify with Jayme because we’re both big on good daily habits, accountability as coaches, and the importance of getting help.

We've touched on so many points on the topic of pain management in this episode.
