During a routine triathlon training bike ride, Alexa Leary was involved in an accident which saw her suffer brain damage and spend over 100 days in hospital. Doctors said her survival was a miracle.

Two years later, Alexa was a Para Swimming World Champion, and then a year later a World Record holder and dual Paralympic Champion.

We chat about her incredible story, and also how being creative and embracing new challenges is such a huge part of her story. She’s just had her first foray in acting, being one of the faces of a new Amazon Prime campaign.
