In the summer of 1950, amidst the chaos of the early Korean War, a column of hundreds of refugees fleeing the North Korean advance found themselves blocked by American soldiers near a small rural crossing known as No Gun Ri. But instead of being guided along safely in their retreat, they would find themselves haunted by a a harrowing three-day massacre that would be buried by history for nearly half a century.
