If you’re a disciple, your priority is not your own desires; it’s to live for Him, to be devoted to Him, to know Him.

When we place our faith in Jesus, we become Christians, but being a disciple of Jesus requires a radical commitment to putting Him first in every aspect of life.

Do you want to consider yourself a Christian- or a disciple?

Take Up Your Cross

We all have a picture of what we think our lives should look like: the right job, the right relationship, the right opportunities, and the right timing. But what happens when God’s plan doesn’t fit inside the lines we’ve drawn?

Sometimes we try to force open doors that God hasn’t opened, simply because we’re convinced we know what’s best. But God sees what we can’t. His plans may lead us somewhere unexpected, introduce us to people we never anticipated, or take our lives in a direction we didn’t choose.

Takeaways from this episode:
• God’s plan may look different from the life you imagined.
• We don’t always see what God sees.
• Be careful about forcing doors God hasn’t opened.
• Stay open to the people and opportunities God places in your path.
• Trust God even when His plan grows outside the lines you drew.

You may have a plan for your life, but God sees the bigger picture. Sometimes the thing growing outside your carefully drawn lines is exactly where He is leading you.

Who are you, really? It’s easy to let our jobs, relationships, accomplishments, appearance, or other people’s opinions define our identity. But our true worth isn’t found in what we do or how others see us.

Psalm 139 reminds us that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” You are a unique creation of God, intentionally made, deeply loved, and fully known by Him.

Takeaways from this episode:
• Your identity isn’t defined by your job, relationships, or accomplishments.
• Your worth comes from being created and loved by God.
• You don’t have to become someone else to have value.
• God knows you completely and loves you deeply.
• Remember who God says you are when the world tries to tell you otherwise.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are known. You are loved. And you are valuable because you are God’s creation.

We’re often told to put others first. But what if taking time to receive from God is actually part of how we become better equipped to serve others?

Using the familiar image of an airplane oxygen mask, this episode explores why receiving God’s grace, love, presence, and blessings isn’t selfish. When we recognize and gratefully receive what God has given us, we have something to share with the people around us.

Thank God for what He’s given you. Then look around. Someone near you may need what you’ve already received.
