A man is under arrest after a confrontation at a popular West Oʻahu beach turned violent last night. Plus, a judge’s ruling could mean more money in survivors’ pockets by limiting attorney fees in Maui wildfire settlement claims.

One man was killed and two others critically injured in a three-car wreck on the Moanalua Freeway. Plus, after five deaths on the Daniel K. Inouye Highway, the state declares a Traffic Emergency Zone to curb more deadly crashes.
