One person is dead after a fiery collision on Daniel K. Inouye Highway, marking the island's 15th traffic fatality in the first half of the year. Governor Green has launched a new strike force to combat Medicaid fraud in the state after federal funding for the effort was pulled. And a win for West Oahu residents, as plans for a new landfill in the community appear to be no longer in the works.
