Chris from Habitat of Humanity of DeKalb County was our Guest DJ today! We talked all about their current build on a house they moved! They need volunteers for the build. We also highlighted their Home Preservation Program which is taking applications.

Judy and Kristin from the HarmonEssence Chorus were my Guest DJs today. We talked all about their chorus, what they do, and their upcoming show on Saturday! We talked about the wide variety of ages/walks of life in the choir as well. They are always looking for new members to join them as well.

Dave from DeKalb Fire, Jen from Northern Illinois Hospice, and Annette from Northwestern Medicine were our Guest DJs today. We talked about an upcoming class they have collaborated on which is free and open to the public on November 20th at the DeKalb Public Library or online on December 12th.

Attendees will learn about the File of Life Initiative, the Knox Box Program, Advance Care Planning, and how to initiate difficult conversations with those they love. This session is both educational and empowering and will leave you feeling more confident and prepared for a medical emergency, should one occur.

This event is a collaboration between Northwestern Medicine, DeKalb Fire Department, Northern Illinois Hospice, and DeKalb Township.

Heaven from the DeKalb County Mental Health Board and Helena and Anna from Family Service Agency were our Guest DJs today. We highlighted what the mental health board does and we dove into the School Based Youth Programming that FSA offers. They have a ton of different resources and groups plus one one one counseling services.

Ashley from The Suter Company was our Guest DJ today. We talked about their very special event they do which is coming up next week. This will be the 15th year in a row they are hosting a mobile back at their facility with Feed My Starving Children. They need volunteers to come and pack meals. It's a really fun event that benefits children. They are looking for 5,000 people to come through their doors.

Sarah from the Rotaract Club of Sycamore was our Guest DJ today! We talked about their huge October they had with Trick or Trivia and the Pumpkin Fest Swag fundraisers. We also touched on adopt a classroom, their plans for the winter season, and they are always welcoming new members!

We talked all about their "Light Up The Manor" campaign which is a fundraiser that will help update security systems, phone systems, and pull cord systems that are crucial for operations. They also talked about the option to sponsor and decorate a Christmas Tree.
