Regional Office of Education to Host Foster Care Awareness Event in May

May is Food Allergy Awareness Month. Lindsey Spangler and Chris Horan, Co-Founders of the Red Sneakers for Food Allergy Awareness-Peoria Chapter, join The Greg and Dan Show to discuss this year’s goals for the organization and for raising awareness for food allergies.

Throughout the month, all donations to the organization will go towards purchasing epi-pens for local first responders. 

Raise awareness for food allergies with Red Sneakers at Clink in Peoria Heights from 5-10 PM on Thursday, May 2. Clink will be the first allergy-friendly restaurant locally.

Peoria Area Performing Arts School Presents Madagascar - A Musical Adventure Jr

Rich Kriegsman of the Pekin Performing Arts Venue Planning Committee joins Greg and Dan to discuss the ongoing campaign for the Mineral Springs Park Performing Arts Venue.

The proposed center will be called the Steven D. Skinner Performing Arts Venue and is expected to officially break ground during a ceremony on Thursday, May 2 at 10 AM.

Kriegsman notes the inspiration behind the proposed venue, the fundraising process for the campaign, and the impact of Steven D. Skinner to the Pekin arts community.
