As part of the ongoing Pekin bicentennial celebration is hosting an event to highlight a specific moment in time between Senator Everrett Dirksen and a reporter during the 1960s. Written by Wade Dooley, a stage actor, singer, and playwright in New York City hailing from Bartonville, Illinois, The Honorable Mr. Marigold is debuting today at Pekin highschool.
