This Sunday is Peoria’s 5th annual Hair and Fashion Showcase. The event will showcase local hair and fashion designers throughout Central Illinois. Organized by Brian and his wife, the event will also be hosted by Andre and his wife. The event will be family friendly and begins at 3 and will run until 6:30 pm that night.

Peoria's 5th Annual Hair and Fashion Showcase

This morning on The Greg and Dan Show, nationally famous photographer Deanna Dikeman gave us a call.



Deanna recently had her Leaving and Waving series featured on national television leading to widespread national acclaim. Her series shows the passage of time through photographing her parents waving her goodbye in her childhood home every time she would visit them. We felt so moved by this series that we had Producer Carson reach out to have her speak on the series and its importance, as well as some of her other work and travelling exhibits.

Today on Giving Tuesday is the Ronald McDonald House’s All-In Donation Day. The Ronald McDonald House offers free housing for parents and families that are required to live nearby the hospital if their children or siblings are seeking treatment at nearby households. With the organization offering their services for free this day is important to help support the organization and their cause to help support all the various people who need support in the dark times they may be in.
