Chip Joyce joins The Greg and Dan Show to preview the Peoria Players Theatre’s performances of Gypsy from February 3rd-4th and 9th-11th at 7:30 pm as well as February 5th and 12th at 2:00 pm.

The highly-regarded musical surrounding the life of Gypsy Rose Lee and her mother’s fight for her daughters’ success while secretly yearning for her own. Set in the 1920s and 30s, Gypsy highlights the end of the Vaudeville era amidst the birth of Burlesque.

Davis gives the details on how to enter the competition, the importance of showcasing local talent throughout the community, and the exciting events happening at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.

Sky Art Peoria is a juried competition that puts the work of local artists on Adams Outdoor billboards. The billboards are seen by thousands of residents and have a value of over $37,000 in free advertising awarded to each winning artist.

The Greg and Dan Show welcomes Maestro George Stelluto and Vocalist Erica Petrocelli ahead of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra’s April concert, Voyage, on April 20th at the Peoria Civic Center Theater.

In this month’s concert, the PSO will feature a guest conductor Louis Lohraseb and guest artist Erica Petrocelli with the performance of Strauss’Tod und Verklärung, Op. 24 and Four Last Songs, plus Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4, Op. 36 in F minor.
