The Greg and Dan Show speaks with Don Shafer about the Illinois Central College (ICC) Information Technology (IT) Workforce Accelerator Job Fair on Tuesday, September 26th from 3:30 – 5:30 PM on ICC’s East Peoria Campus.

Shafer notes the IT Workforce Accelerator $15 million grant received by ICC, Bradley University, and Eureka College through the U.S. Economic Development Administration Good Jobs Challenge Grant.

The IT Workforce Accelerator Job Fair showcases local IT organizations’ open employment opportunities. The grant addresses the need for skilled IT workers in Central Illinois by ensuring 1,000 individuals have the credentials by taking classes free of charge.  

The event is free and open to the public.
