Greg and Phil talk with Dan Son, Chairman of the Northmoor Observatory, about the history of the observatory and how it became the first observatory in Illinois to offer public viewing. He shares how the observatory gives visitors incredible views of stars, planets, and the moon, who can attend, and why it’s such a unique free experience for the community!
The observatory is open to the public every cloudless Saturday night from the beginning of May through the end of October, and everyone is encouraged to check it out!
