Greg and Dan talk with Carol Myrna, CEO of the Center for Prevention of Abuse, and Celsy Young, Director of Marketing for HI-C, about the upcoming annual Duck Race this Saturday, August 23rd, at the Eastside Center in East Peoria!

The festivities kick off at 11:00 AM with food trucks, live music, and family-friendly entertainment. The race itself begins at 1:00 PM, where you’ll have the chance to win $10,000 just by purchasing a duck! Out of the original 35,000 ducks, only about 880 remain.

Carol and Celsy share how this event has become a community legacy, with all proceeds supporting the shelter and keeping its doors open. The Duck Race is not just fun, it’s an important tradition that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
