The Greg and Dan Show welcome Paula Balistreri of Central Illinois Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired for a discussion on the history of the CICBVI and its continuous efforts in assisting the Blind and Visually Impaired community throughout Central Illinois.

Balistreri, the Operations Manager for the Center, notes the origins of the long white cane, the percentage of the community that is affected by visual impairment, and how the Center assists those in need.

The CICBVI is hosting an Open House on Tuesday, June 25th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at 2905 W Garden St in Peoria. Tour the Center’s kitchen and technology rooms and learn more about the Center’s efforts in the community. Plus, the 17th Annual CICBVI Golf Outing is coming up on July 15th at the Arrowhead Country Club.
