Greg and Dan talk with Hector Carono and Bob Evans about City Kids Camp, a program dedicated to bringing kids to camp and providing a safe, positive environment away from violence. Hector shares the origin story of the camp, which began 11 years ago, while Bob explains how he got involved. Now in its fourth year partnering with Peoria Public Schools, the camp takes place the first week of June.

The camp offers traditional activities like fishing and s’mores, along with unique experiences like yoga and music production. They emphasize the need for community support to help send kids to camp and continue their mission of putting smiles on children’s faces and treating every child like their own.
