ICE is planning to spend up to $20 million on special gloves that can deliver electric shocks. They look like regular patrol gloves until the officer hits a switch. Then they can deliver a painful jolt...similar in purpose to a Taser... to gain control of someone who’s resisting. Critics say it’s unnecessary and risky. Supporters say agents need every tool available to do a difficult job safely.
