Gene begins the show by telling how a "guardian angel" helped him find his way back to his wife (Nurse Carol) so he could retrieve her from her eye appointment. Then, Guy tells about how, despite the currently-high CD interest rates, fixed and fixed indexed annuities annuities are more advantageous, because CDs are taxable and don't offer bonuses.
