较早前，希盟在柔佛州的最大对手，国民阵线已经宣布，将角逐全部56个州议席，但未公布候选人名单。

希盟与国阵，都是安华领导的中央团结政府的成员党。国阵宣布竞选柔佛州的全部议席，标志着这两个政治阵营全面竞争。

柔佛州选被视为马来西亚全国大选的前哨战、风向标。这次州选的结果，会如何影响团结政府的运作以及存续？马来西亚全国大选会在什么时候举行？由安华的公正党前署理主席拉菲兹的团队接管的同心党等“第三势力”，是否有可能掀起新风潮？

Malaysia's Johor snap election is shaping up as a major stress test for Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's federal unity government. With nominations set for June 27 and polling on July 11, the southern state has become a critical battleground, as Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) are federal partners but direct rivals in Johor, where BN holds power as the incumbent state government.

BN has announced it will contest all 56 state seats, with party leaders framing Johor as a launchpad for a broader national comeback. Perikatan Nasional is also contesting all 56 seats, setting up fierce multi-cornered fights across most constituencies. Adding further disruption is Parti Bersama Malaysia (Bersama), a minor party taken over in May 2026 by former Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli and former minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, which is running independently and contesting a selection of seats.

Widely viewed as a bellwether for the next general election, the result could determine whether BN's aggressive push fractures the unity government and whether local state results accelerate a nationwide vote.
