Thailand will hold its general election on May 14. This is the country’s second general election since the 2014 coup d'état. The incumbent Prayuth Chan-Ocha is seeking to retain his position as the prime minister while Paetongtarn Shinawatra, daughter of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, is staging some sort of a political comeback for her family. A rising star in the political scene and a hot favourite amongst the candidates, Pita Limjaroenrat urges for change in this election.
