马来西亚柔佛州星期六举行了州议会选举，长期执政柔佛州的国民阵线不出所料获得大胜。在总数56个州议席中，国阵赢得48席，比上届选举中还多八席，再次以超过三分之二绝对优势执政。

在这个华人人口占三成的州，希盟流失10%华人选票。希盟的主要成员党、代表华人选民的民主行动党的议席从上届的10席萎缩到6席。代表伊斯兰势力的伊斯兰党，这次也颗粒无收。

In last Saturday's Johor state election, Barisan Nasional (BN) reclaimed its commanding two-thirds majority, winning 48 of 56 seats. In contrast, Pakatan Harapan (PH) suffered a major blow as a 10% drop in Chinese support shrank DAP's seats from 10 to 6.

While the Islamist party PAS won zero seats, its highly strategic vote-transfer to BN has quietly advanced the conservative "Green Wave" into the south.
