A recent survey of autistic adults found that nearly half don't feel it's safe to disclose their autism at work. But at one nonprofit in Port Washington, that concern is nonexistent. Today, Spectrum Designs operates four locations in New York, New Jersey and Florida, and is on track to generate $10 million in revenue this year. Spectrum Designs is also a non-profit, employing a workforce of 100 that is 70% autistic.
