Most American veterans transition to civilian life with remarkable success. However, veterans also face disproportionately higher rates of mental health challenges compared to the general public, and remain significantly less likely to seek care. To address this disparity, Rawle Andrews Jr., Executive Director of the American Psychiatric Association Foundation, is championing the expanded Mental Health Care Works campaign to dismantle stigma and broaden access to vital support for veterans and their families.
