We were incredibly privileged to have Mursal Sadat, a football player for the Afghanistan Women’s National Team and an amazing advocate for women’s and refugee rights, join us in the studio.

Mursal shared her story of being forced to leave her home and family in 2021 when the Taliban took over, how sport has shaped her life, and the power of education. Mursal also spoke with us about the incredible work that the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre is doing, and their telethon which took place on World Refugee Day (June 20th).
