We’re shaking things up in the Cereal Box again this Monday morning, with Sam and Maddy bringing you a stacked show to kick off the week.
As always, we’ll be diving into a pop culture recap to unpack everything that’s been happening lately. And wow, it’s been a big week from “Knicks in 5” and FIFA fever to endless music news, there’s certainly no shortage of things to talk about.
It’s also almost halfway through the year, which means the winter solstice is just around the corner. To mark the occasion, Maddy will be putting Sam’s knowledge to the test with a quiz on solstice myths, legends, and traditions.
Speaking of halfway marks, we’ll also be checking in on our New Year’s resolutions to see whether we’re smashing our goals or, more realistically, if we’ve given them a little less attention than they need…
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Monday without Movie Monday. Continuing the theme of reflection and change, we’ll be taking a look at the 2013 romantic drama About Time a film that deserves far more love than it gets.
We’ll also share our Mission Monday goals and pledges for the week ahead, before wrapping things up with our usual guide to what’s on around Melbourne and a few gig recommendations to keep your calendar full!
