Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) hosted a successful world intellectual property day on sports at their main campus in Pretoria today. This year’s theme was going for gold-intellectual property and sports. The event was established by the World Intellectual Property Organization in 2000 to raise awareness of how patents, copyright, trademarks and designs impact on daily life and to celebrate creativity. Chairperson of Wheelchair Tennis South Africa Ntambi Ravele emphasized the importance of the day.
