Bidvest Wits are through to the next round of the CAF Champions League qualifiers after beating SS St-Louisienne 3-1 at the Bidvest Stadium on Saturday night making the tally of the two legged game (4-3) on aggregate, in their favour. “The Clever Boys” will now face eight times CAF Champions League winners, Al Ahly in their next round of qualifying games and if they win, they go through to the group stages. “The Students” manager, Gavin Hunt says that the big stage has now been set and that they are looking forward to playing against “The Red Devils”, but he also just wants to focus on the league games. Hunt says that because of the size of his team, he needs to be careful with his squad while he plays the balancing act between the domestic league and the CAF Champions League. The talented tactician says that although they won the MTN 8 this season, they really have not won or done anything else however they are in the process of changing the clubs history.
