Shakuntala was also awarded the 2021 World Food Prize for her research and insights into developing holistic, nutrition-sensitive approaches to aquatic food systems.

In this episode, Shakuntala opens up about her work pioneering aquatic food systems research and why she advocates for incorporating more aquatic foods such as fish, molluscs, and seaweed into the diets of people around the world to create more holistic food systems.
