PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — Waste oil collection is suspended for the next two weeks because of a leak in the oil collection tank at the Hedly Street Transfer Station. And there's a paid part-time internship open to a high school junior with the town's Canvassing Authority. That's just some of the news Portsmouth Town Administrator Richard Rainer shared with the Town Council at the start of the regular council meeting Monday night at Town Hall.
