You've seen those viral Instagram projects right? Projects that tell you what goat suits your name or seeing meme pages dedicated to one artist only. How about a project that only features Australian album covers stylised as an old receipt?

This one really caught my eye, and apparently quite a few others - it's really picking up steam. I chatted to the wizard behind the 'Aus Album Receipts' project, Tim Lambert, about exploring super-niche projects, the power of community, and saying yes to opportunities (don't listen to imposter syndrome!).

Cindy, the Event Director for Airwaves Festival(one of Australia's first successful drive-in festivals during a pandemic) is an absolute ideas machine. Writing the plan for Airwaves down on the back of a cereal box during a plane flight, Cindy went on to organise an event that could challenge big-name festivals in line-up, theme, and smooth operation.

She joined me on freestival to detail how Airwaves came together, the joy in seeing hundreds of people decked out in space-themed costumes, and how volunteering is one of the best ways to support live music events (especially for those with limited funds available).
