Let's go, stinking Gails, Let's go go, Let's go. You know they're not gonna go to the playoffs, right, Oh.

We're going. I told you we're going. That's why my new nickname is Einstein. Everybody who tweets in today has to call me Einstein. I told you, I told you we were going to the playoffs. I guess what. Now, we're going to the playoffs. Then we're gonna beat the Bills in the first round, and then we're gonna be Kansas City No. And then we're gonna win in the Ames Championship. And then we'll go to the super Bowl. And I'm gonna go to New Orleans. And you you say we have a producer, get our producer to tweet the boss that I'll be taking off and I'm gonna be going to the super Bowl in New Orleans.

Please Okay, We're coming to you live from the tyrack dot com studios. Tyrack dot com will help you get there an unmatched to selection, fast free shipping, free road hazard protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tyrack dot com the way tired by should be. Now we're in the middle of a doozy here in Sunday Night football. The Washington Commanders have a twenty four to seventeen lead over Atlanta with two thirty four to go in the football game. And I think we're just about to the point where we can put lights out on this one. Is Atlanta is unable to convert on a fourth and long and Washington will take Did they throw a flag on that though? I hope not? All right now a fourth and eleven, fourth and eleven, twenty four to seventeen. Washington as the lead two thirty four to go the Commander Tonight Arnie with a win clinch a playoff berth and I kind of think they're a problem. I don't think I would want to deal with Jane Daniels. But they're somehow still winning this football game despite ten penalties for eighty five yards and Atlanta converts on the fourth and long. So keep hope alive knocking on the door of the red zone. Michael Pinnix in Atlanta is still very much alive. But man, what a mistake prone game Tonight, Arnie for the Commanders. They've only lost one turnover it was an interception, but ten penalties for eighty five yards only four for the Falcons, and somehow Atlanta's still alive in this game.

Vegas is gonna get clobbered tonight. They really are they? Oh? First of all, I went six and one of my picks, and I know a lot of people that were on Washington. They were easily the favorite money wise, and I'm curious that there was three and a half I believe. So they'll have to hold onto this. If they give up a touchdown, I mean they could score a touchdown in overtime, we're gonna.

Have a first and goal of the four yard line.

Wow. So yeah, this is gonna be interesting to see how this turns out. I know a lot of the favorites one and covered, so Vegas definitely took about this weekend.

Well, no, Todd's on vacation, right, He's.

Todd will be here to will be here.

I think Todd is confirmed. Todd Furman will join us coming up in our number two. I'm sorry everyone jumping my ass on that one. My bad. I just I thought he was out for a couple of weeks. But Todd will be back here later on in hour two to recap everything. And we don't really get a ton of lines because we don't even know what the schedule is for Week eighteen, but apparently there is a line on the Ravens Browns game. Oh my gosh, a bad snap. They tried to do the direct snap to b Jon Robinson and it went over his set Arnie all the way back up the twenty six yard line.

Oh, I love it.

What a disaster second down in goal. The rarity of a I mean, we're gonna hit the two minute warning here, so obviously we'll be able to keep an eye on this game and recap that they were trying to do. Was it even a direct snap? Yeah, it was a direct snap to Robinson and it rifled right over his head and nothing he could do, I mean nothing he can do. He was able to go sideways a bit once he picked it up, and holy smokes, disaster for the Falcons. Meanwhile, I love this show the Final the Penn ultimate weekend of the NFL season, because we get the Week eighteen schedule at some point in night. But in most of the lines, right, but number one, this is easy, Right, It's Lions Vikings next Sunday night, isn't it? This is easy? Well?

I think it is I saw the I don't know if it was leaked or whatever about the three games that were going to be the four o'clock games. Did you see that.

I haven't seen any leaks, and I like to be surprised by this, So.

Go ahead, Okay, it's going to be a Dolphins game, the Denver Kansas City game, the Dolphins Jets game, and the third one. I don't know. I put it on my Twitter.

All the teams that are right now kind of battling for a playoff spot, is that kind of who they're all putting there?

So yeah, I'll find out. The third game, I'll find out in a second. But those were two of the three. Of the third one, here you go. It was Tyler Wong. You just tweeted it.

Bengals, Steelers, Chiefs, Broncos, and Dolphins Jets will all kick off at four to twenty five Easter next Sunday. That's according to at Tyler Wong sixty five and all eight hundred and forty two of his followers.

Well, there was other people that posted that too, so he's not the only one.

Where are they?

Oh no, it was I can send them to you there. It was like, oh, okay, I'm not.

I mean, that would be the smart thing to do, right, because those would be those would be the three teams that basically have I mean, it depends on what the other team does if they're still alive, right, And I'll be real interesting to see what the Chiefs do, because you know, Andy Reid doesn't always like to rest his start, and now he's done it in years past. But this is your rival, and this is a chance to keep them out of the playoffs.

I thought he was already's sitting them to begin with, as he said that I thought he did. I could be mistaken because obviously it's a big game for me for my Dolphins, but we know they're going. But I figure he said that he was going to rest his starters and that he was going to be playing the backups the entire game.

Chiefs plan to rest key starters in Week eighteen with number one seed leading up to unprecedented layoff.

That's like twenty six games. I believe twenty six days.

I believe twenty six days is how long they would have off between the regular season finale. Now, again, this is a report according to CBS as Jonathan Jones, So this isn't necessarily Andy Reid coming out and saying it. This is a report from CBS this morning. Now, I wonder, I wonder if that changes at all. Aren'tie knowing that, Hey it's Denver. I don't know. I don't know who you're playing and maybe trying to keep them out of the playoffs. I don't know if that factors in at all. Maybe Mahomes always wants to play, maybe he's pushed into play. But I think the smart move is to sit, right. I think the smart move is to sit your guys and make sure they're rested in their healthy. Now, that sucks for your Dolphins because that probably gives Denver a really good chance to win that football game. But bottom line, more than anything else, is we know your Dolphins are going to win on Sunday because the Jets. Absolutely that's the Jets have become the biggest joke right now in the NFL, and I don't I mean, getting smoked like they did today was unaccepted. The only thing, the only thing funnier than the Jets right now might be the Colts, but we'll talk about that a little bit later on. So unknown about the schedule except the rumors and the reports that they would put those three games in that four to twenty five Eastern window, because again, those are three games that are very much contingent on what happens in the game that's being played at the same time, and they don't want to effective guys rest and I mean, they don't want to have a situation where, you know, I don't know where they don't have people just resting when they don't have to.

Yeah, you know the Kansas City situation though, twenty six days off, that's a long time. That's like a month. That's that's a load of you know what I mean.

Touchdown Kyle Pitts. Wow, what a throw from Michael Pinnox on fourth and goal. Oh wow, the Reds the needle. It's a twelve play, sixty eight yard drive that eats up three thirteen and with a minute nineteen to go on an extra point pending, Washington leads it twenty four to twenty three. I apologize. I think your point is dead on though, right that that amount of time off, that is a long time.

That's too many. Now, if it was gonna be just like one week off, I understand you sit everybody and nobody really discusses this. Then again, if you play them and they get hurt, people gonna say what's wrong with you? If they do get hurt, at least you got a long time to heal before they have to play the next game. I you know, damn if you do, Damn if you don't, you don't even want to play him at half? Maybe that's the answer.

I know.

I'm a Dophin fan. I want him to play. I want him to win the game. But I could say I could see them saying, you know what, guys, you're gonna sit it out, take the twenty six days off, especially Mahomes who had that was it a bad ankle a couple of games ago. So I consolutely want to rest him. So that would be my decision. If I was Andy Reid, I'd sit and rest everybody.

Well and again and again. You are a Dolphins fan who needs the Chiefs to lose that game or the Chiefs to win that game, right right, in order to keep I'm.

Either fifteen to one and I need them to win, and they're not gonna win. How about that? How about my luck?

Well? I again want to point this out, every single one of these reports that the Chiefs are going to rest their starters is based on Jonathan Jones' report from CBS Sports. So again, I have no reason to doubt him. But it's not coming from Schefter, or it's not coming from me in rap report, and it's not coming from all the people that cover Kansas City. Right now, if you just wore to look on the intrawebs for a story about the Chiefs resting their starters in week eighteen, every single one of them cites what Jonathan Jones report from CBS Sports. So, Arnie, keep up alive. Maybe there's a chance that they could play their So but you you made it.

Sound like and I don't know, maybe you're right on this. You just like they can keep out a divisional rival is big of a deal. Does that really mean anything to compared to what they're looking at and focusing on the big picture?

Well, I would think, how about looking at it this way? Yeah, I would much rather keep the Broncos out and not have to worry about seeing them in the playoffs than your Dolphins, that's for certain.

Yeah. But so people were saying they don't want to see Cincinnati.

No one wants to see Cincinnati, dude, right right, So I could.

See oh oh that thought all that.

Okay, go ahead, try to keep Cincinnati out. Yeah, well that would be letting Denver win, right, so you just go ahead and let Denver win. I think your ultimate goal would be to beat Denver and have Miami get in no offense. But I mean, what is going on with Tua? Here's your guy when you need him in the biggest moment, you're that's your quarterback. And when you need him, where is he's on the sideline? Didn't seem like his hip was bother him too much when he's jumping around celebrating. I think I got a better hip than he does.

In sixty one. To be honest with.

You, I don't think you're wrong, but you know that that's your quarterback, right, that's your guy, and in the biggest moment, what happens. Thankfully you were playing the Browns are awful. You have to turn to what's your dog's nickname? There? Huntley's nickname Snoop Snoop.

And by the way, he was phenomenal to he was great, He was great, awesome. I love that guy. You hated him, I know, but I love him now.

I tried to get to this earlier, but This Sunday Night football game has been wild. Down the stretch. We are knotted up at twenty four a piece. There's a minute nineteen to go. Washington's gonna get the football. How many timeouts they got loft? It looks like they got two timeouts left. But you just got to get in a field goal range and see if Cyber can't knock one home. So we're setting up for a dramatic finish on Sunday Night football. The Sega will be all over it. And then, of course it's always Steve will have the schedule for you in Week eight. Team coming up in a moment. I'm kind of surprised that we haven't had any leaks ony about what the Saturday games might be. Usually those come out kind of early, and there's at least one Saturday game with playoff. I guess you gotta wait till this game is over, right, because.

Right they have to wait till every game's over before they decide games are they gonna be putting on Saturday? Uh?

You got two games on Saturday?

You know, Chris, I said this a long time ago, and I know you, you know you ripped me a new one.

Is this going where you say you predicted all the divisions.

Listen everyone, No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, that's not exactly that. I wasn't gonna say that at all. I did say this a while ago when I said that, you know that it looks like the AFC was pretty much done and there wasn't a lot of intrigue. Somebody else tweeted this out on I Forget. Somebody was putting out their just their opinion saying this was the most uninteresting regular season in the history of the NFL because really most of the teams that were in like Week four, Week five, they're gonna make the playoffs. There was not a lot of going in going out, a lot of jockeing. Uh, it just wasn't very odd. And I said down to you a long time ago, I go, it just feels like an uninteresting year. Maybe you'll fight on big time on that one, but it just felt that way. I kind of agree with that.

So I just want to get this clear. You're fighting that everything is set and it's uninteresting. Meanwhile, you're telling us that a team that needed about twelve different things to happen to make the playoffs makes the playoffs. In your mind and it's uninteresting.

Look, yes, it's hopefully it happened from Miami, but I mean there's been better races. We've had a lot more sure going into the final.

Tell me, Sam, Darnold's not interesting.

Oh come on, you know actually it's not really to be honest with.

You, really, Minnesota Vikings. Yeah, And by the way, speaking of the Minnesota Vikings, I think that's gonna be an absolute wild offseason to follow what they decide to do with Darnald Wild. I think what they decide to do, and what the Steelers decide to do with Russell Wilson, and I think now, I mean, it's obvious this is Michael Pennock's team and Atlanta Kirk Cousins in Atlanta, what his future looks like, what Indianapolis decides to do, right, I mean, it's just New Orleans has quarterback situations that they got to deal with the Giants, the Raiders. I just think we're setting up for a wild off season with the quarterbacks. But I won't disagree with you, Arnie. I won't fight you on that, you know. I just I can't excite you all the time because you're you're not happy with the playoffs unless it's all blue bloods in college football. Yeah no, seriously, And if it's not, you know, week in and week out, just one score games that come down to the final second and all the big name teams battling up until the final minute for a playoff spot. Well, then to you it sucks.

I'm kind of bummed. And even though I don't like him, I'm not like the Cowboys aren't in there, say, you know, I want to see teams like that. By the way, I want to back up to one more thing, because it was a Saturday and I don't know if we're gonna have a chance to talk about the Saturday games. I think the referees got that whole Bengal thing wrong at the end of the game about the guy getting hurt. To be honest with you, I don't know really.

Yeah, well, we'll have to dive into that later. I agree with you that was.

Because I don't think they handled that right at all. I think they could have letten thirty seconds run out, and then the Bengals could have used the time out and still gotten everybody off the field and and really taking a lot of time off so or or made the Broncos use a timeout. I think they botched that whole thing up.

Well, we'll revisit it coming up in a bit, because A we're doing timeout, and b the Commanders are facing a third and ten with under a minute left and oh, a dropped pass. They're gonna have to punt the ball back to Atlanta with fifty seconds left on the clock. Arnie and the Falcons have two timeouts left.

How crazy is that?

All Right, we're setting up for a wild finish in Sunday Night Football, and then moments afterwards, I'm pretty sure we'll have that full slate for next week to dive into. As always, we're coming to you live from the tiraq dot com studios. You guys want to dive into whatever you've got on your mind from week seventeen, hit us up. The best way to interact on the program is on x Arnie's at Stinking Genius One. I'm at Plank Show. Everybody follow us at Fox Sports Radio. We'll take you out of the wire with Sunday Night Football next right here on Fox Sports Radio.

Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports radio dot com. And within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to listen live. All right, So when we left you it was tied at twenty four. We returned with the game tied at twenty four headed to overtime. But holy smokes, Number one Ray Moore should probably be fired right away, Arnie because the inability to call a time out. I don't know, there was one major moment where he botched, not calling a time out where they usually should have.

And then they give you a penalty to get the ten yards and then you come.

Up, no, it wasn't ten yards. It wasn't ten yards. It was a pass interference, man. No, they called defensive pass interference.

Wow.

So they went from having it third and five at their own forty nine yard line to getting it with two seconds left at the Washington thirty eight yard line. And then I remember the only way Coo is hurt. He's out for the season. So they have their I guess what third kicker of the season that they're basically on, and Riley Patterson comes up short on a fifty six yarder. If that was perfect?

Oh, I was like, WHOA, this game is over? This is I thought that was gonna go like ten yards past and he might either he mishit it or he doesn't have a strong leg.

It's the second fifty six yarder i've seen come up short today. Oh wow, that was not even that was that was like right online. I thought he had nailed it. But Artie, what is ra he Moore is doing? Not taking a time out?

I don't know how he has see I didn't have the sound on, so I was thinking. I'm saying to myself, Okay, he has no timeouts. I go, what's going on? I kept saying to myself, what's going on. I'm looking at the TV, I'm looking at the computer. I couldn't figure out why he wasn't stopping the clock. I go, there must there must be a mistake. He must have nothing go left. And they're afraid if they don't pick up the first down they'll have to punt it. And I don't I was getting confused. I didn't understand what was going on.

So here here is just to take you through the scenario. Good punt coverage after a three and out by Washington with what thirty nine seconds left? They punted it away forty seconds. I'll be exact here. Pinnix Hitch Mooney for a twenty five yard completion, right, but the clock keeps rolling, so they get over it and he throws it incompletion and.

Then completely smuts at that point.

Two timeouts, you're right too, and the incompletion burns at least so you're probably gonna wear like ten fifteen off of the play. They end up burning twenty three seconds from forty seconds left in the game to seventeen and then he throws another in completion and then for some reason they call a time out there and they hit the pass interference call on third and five that for the moment saved their day. But wow, drama here is Washington and Atlanta are knotted up at twenty four now, and listen, I just want to say this real quick because I see a lot of people that are throwing fits. There's like drop the schedule, drop the schedule. Well, this game does impact what might be considered a bigger game next week, right, because you know, if Atlanta loses, then there is a chance that the Buccaneers could win the division. Right. If Atlanta wins, then there's they pretty much got the division locked up, right, so you also look at for Washington if they win they're in with a wild card. If they lose, they're still an outside shot. It's very slim that they could miss the playoffs, very slim shot, Arnie. But there's still a lot at play right now. As far as next next week in schedule is concerned, I don't like it. I wish we knew what the schedule was right now. Of course there's reports out there about the three afternoon games, but I don't mind waiting to find out, especially with everything that's on the line here.

When will when they'll put it out right after this game or like fifteen minutes after games, I would, well, let's go tonight, I guess.

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. The Seger is coming up with the update here and just a bit we'll tack him in just to help us out here, because Steve, we've done this show now for the better part of a decade, and I feel like every single time that we do this show in week eighteen, we'll get one or two games that trickle out during the evening. Yeah, and then you'll get the full schedule after the game zone. But I'll throw the wrench into it. It's not just a matter of what you mentioned rides on this result tonight. The Rams have a chance to make their game next weekend meaningless if Washington wins this game tonight. In fact, it's possible that the Rams and Seahawks don't even find out till the end of tomorrow night whether they're finale, is gonna meet anything. The reason is because even if Seattle wins that last game of the regular season at the Rams, okay, that would make each team Rams and Seahawks ten and seven, same division record, same conference record. You keep going down to the tiebreakers, would get to strength of victory, how good were your wins? The Rams need a commander's victory here tonight because mathemat mathematically, believe it or not, mathematically, that would strengthen the Rams. Case or forty nine Ers win last night tomorrow night, because the Rams and beating the forty nine ers twice, San Francisco actually had a win tomorrow, that's great for the Rams. So there's a lot on this.

There are legitimate football reasons, not just TV reasons why we're not getting a schedule yet.

All right, Well, let's hit the rests of the updates. See what's drending. What do we got going on in the world of sports?

We're a minute into the overtime in DC Washington twenty four, Atlanta twenty four, and yeah, it was a missed fifty six yard field goal short by the Atlanta Falcons with a backup kicker at the end of regulation that kept us tied. Washington has the ball to start the ot They had the ball up at their own forty two. Again, a touchdown first drive and that'll end things. Jaden Daniels with two touchdown passes, one interception on the ground. Daniels with twelve carries ninety nine yards. Dominant second half for the home team, Washington with a long touchdown drive to start the second half, fifteen play drive Daniels a TD pass to Zach Ertz, and then the second drive was a fourteen play drive that wound up with a touchdown two yard run from Chris Rodriguez. Third drive was a field goal and a twenty four to seventeen lead, but Michael Pennix tied it up with a minute nineteen to go on his fourth and goal from the thirteen touchdown pass Pennix to Kyle Pitts. And by the way, that rocket over the middle is exactly what Washington Husky fans saw in his career there. That was sensational from Pennis to even up the game. We're at seven and a half minutes to go in the overtime, it's tied at twenty four. Atlanta cannot clinch its division title tonight because Tampa Bay didn't lose today. Bucks got an easy win over Carolina forty eight to fourteen. Baker Mayfield five touchdown passes. Washington at ten and five can clinch a play off berth with a win or a tie tonight. Minnesota won its ninth straight game. It was up on Green Bay twenty seven to ten, was six and a half minutes left, beat the Packers twenty seven to twenty five. Miami is still alive in the AFC chase for that last playoff spot. Of course, Denver is still alive as well. Miami won at Cleveland twenty to three. The Giants ended a ten game losing streak beating the Colts forty five thirty three, so the Colts are officially eliminated. Wins for the Jaguars and Raiders. Buffalo clinched the two seed in the AFC beating the Jets forty to fourteen. It was forty to nothing. Mid fourth quarter. Philadelphia clinched the NFC East title with a win over Dallas forty one to seven. Saquon Barkley now over two thousand yards rushing this year. Today against the Cowboys, he had thirty one carries one hundred and sixty seven yards. In the NBA, Oklahoma City won its eleventh straight game, ripping Memphis one thirty to one oh six, and the late game has just ended in the NBA Timberwolves edged is one twelve to one. Ten NHL wins for Dallas and Vegas. The late game in la final minute of regulation as the Kings they had five to four over Philadelphia. Update on the NFL overtime, we are under seven minutes to go in ot Washington. With the ball they have driven into field goal range. It is for the moment, tied at twenty four against Atlanta.

Back to you, all right, thanks a lot, Steve, as We're coming to you live from the ti iraq dot com studios. Whenever Steve mentioned the NBA, it was one of those moments where I've been I've been so dialed in today on the even though the games haven't been all that great. I mean, let's just you know, me, I'm like, ah, football, let's go, I'll watch it. All have been very good games today. I mean that I don't even know, and it was one of what two games that were going on three games in the afternoon slate. I don't know that the red zone ever went to your Browns Dolphins game. And also I don't know if the red zone in the early afternoon are the early slate. I don't think they ever went to the Raiders Saints. Just there's certain games. I don't remember seeing any highlights from the Jaguars and Titans. But I was locked in. I was locked in Arnie, and it was one of those moments where Steve was giving the updates. I'm like, oh, yeah, that's right, Thunder play tonight. I gotta give an update on my on the hottest team in the NBA right now.

Huh, I'm gonna I'm fit. They were good, good, But I'm thinking about going to a Knicks game. I'm thinking about going to the Dolphins Bills first round in the playoffs in a couple of weeks too, So that's only six hours away for me.

We've got a couple of spreads that have been floated for next week. This is according to bet online dot ag so by no means is anything set. And like we said, we don't know that the two Saturday games yet, we don't know the full Sundays.

Again, there was three Saturday games. They tweeted us they were wrong.

Okay, here is a couple of the numbers that have popped up. First, green Bay a ten point favorite over Chicago. When will green Bay even have that much to play for?

Right? Right? Chicago's still going to play hard, so I would kind of like.

Okay, thanks there. Meanwhile, according to Marcus Moser, he said the Ravens are currently in eighteen point five eighteen and a half eighteen point five, eighteen and a half point favorite over the Browns. In week eighteen, he claimed you'd never seen an NFL line that high. Matt Verderam retweeted that and said in twenty thirteen, the Broncos were once a twenty eight point favorite all the Jaguars. I don't remember that. I don't remember that Denver won Jackson covered. But eighteen and a half are you for an NFL game? Yeah?

I got all the lines in front of me. That's a lot. Baltimore eighteen and a half. My goodness, man. I know the Browns offense look just putrid today, but that's a lot of points. And you know what, I think I'd lay the eighteen and half.

Yeah, though, well, and I it's funny because you always reached that ultimate week eighteen and there's gonna be games with playoff ramifications that are huge, right that matter. But eighteen and a half for Cleveland, Baltimore, New Orleans and ten Tampa Bay thirteen point favorite for Tampa Bay. We mentioned ten for Green Bay.

I got the line on Kansas City, Denver.

What is it? I've got Denver minus eight? Is that right?

Denver minus nine, which which has to me that's a true report.

But again again again it's one report in Vegas. We'll ask time about Vegas.

The line's telling you that's what's good.

But this isn't a Vegas created line yet.

No, I have the I yeah, I have the spread on Vegas lines in front of them.

Oh it is okay. I thought this was just from bet online dot AG. I didn't know that they had put out Future odd.

Because okay, this is what I found on ESPN, So I don't know if it's I thought it.

Was well, ESPN bets. Oh, look at Jane Daniels. By the way, while we're fighting over what's reel and what isn't as far as spreads are concerned, Jane Daniels bouncing off the fenders down to the two yard line is third and goal. We're knotted up at twenty four all in Sunday Night Football. A win by the Commanders or a tie clinches a play off spot for him, and by the way, very much brings Tampa into a situation where they can end up winning the NFC South. You got to go. You're not You're going for the touchdown here to end this thing, right, You're not a messive. They've run Daniels a lot during this series. They've run him a lot. In fact, they're gonna take the play clock down here and take a time out to give him a little bit of a breather. But yeah, you want to end this drop the Falcons.

Stanch didn't get the ball first. Yes, they're gonna kill the whole ten minutes.

That's the way it's looking right now. They got the football off the kickoff, and yeah they've had it since the start of overtime. Wow, seven minutes they started on their own twenty five yard line, so as it stands right now, Arnie, this is a very army like drive. Eleven plays, sixty eight yards, seven minutes and fifteen seconds. I mean, that's that's big boy football right.

There, especially in overtime. By the way, Dolphins Jets, this is an interesting line. Dolphin's done half, which means I'm guessing to us that two is going to be out for the game. But I don't know how they know that, because I don't think anything has been decided for him next week.

I again, in this this week eighteen, I'm just gonna read what Jimmy Shapiro, who does a good job of floating. Well, let's let's wait up until this third and goal play here. Touchdown? Yeah, well that's not a very good call. Who got it?

Zach Ertz?

All right, Daniel's looking finds Ertz? Did he catch it? You're saying it hit the ground? He caught it? Touchdown? Are they gonna look at it?

All scoring plays are with that?

That looks like it's a catch. Beautiful? All right, boy, you guys are terrible at this play by play thing. I mean, you finally got you finally get your feet ahead of us. So you can ruin it, and you're even worse than ir Yeah, twelve plays. Now the falcons are saying it hit the ground. You guys seem pretty sure about it. Let's watch the replay. That's a catch to me. Man.

I forget that year like behind like a billion seconds?

Yeah, a billion?

Three hours behind us?

Three hours. Then why don't you guys say something?

We just did?

Yeah, but you didn't say anything. You touch that? No he didn't, did you hear it? Go? It's terrible.

I went seven to zero on my afternoon picks. That's just on Sun. That's awesome.

Well done, all right, so here's the spread.

Well you don't like to give me any credit, do you?

I just said that's awesome. What do you want me to do? Drive up to Delaware?

It have been sincere Vermont?

Vermont? What around twenty twenty one? Whatever it takes. Week eighteen is the only regular season week of the NFL that doesn't have look aheadlines. According to this, it's just too difficult for the odds makers to make lines without knowing each team's motivation for each game. It's hard enough to even set opening lines today without knowing what players are sitting for a week eight. So some of these I think, from what we're seeing right now, could shift quite dramatically over the next few days, right.

And that's one thing Vegas tries to avoid because the one thing that they're always worried about is getting middled and which is the ultimate bet for the gamblers. And you could ask Todd about this. Any gambler will tell you, Yeah, I'd like to get three points or you know, get two points and then later in the week, you know, getting eight or something like that, or you know, getting something in the middle, and it's described that were laying too and then getting eight because something happened or there was a big movement in the line. That's what the ultimate gambler wants, and that's what could happen the last week.

All right. The Falcons will have to fight for their playoff lives next week, and as it stands now, are gonna need a little bit of help. Meanwhile, for the first time since twenty twenty when they made the playoffs with a seven and nine record, and for the first time with eight winning record since twenty fifteen, the Washington Commanders are going to the playoffs.

Good for them, man, good for them. And they've had a great year. It's it's their future looks big time bright for them. Good for the Commander's got a new owner in there, changed your name. They're gonna be dangerous. This is gonna be a fun team to watch.

And that's a great point. With the win tonight, you heard the saga talking about strength of victory. This basically clinches the division for the Los Angeles Rams.

Yeah. I didn't know if Washington was. I know they needed three of five teams to win coming into today, and I'm not sure if all I knew one of them won. One of them was the Bills. I didn't know what the other two were.

Of It's official, Seattle's out there, you go. So now there's wantless games that have meaning. Next week you'll have basically Tampa's game, in which what'd you say that line was on the Tampa Bay game, they're thirteen point favorites against New Orleans. Wow. And and Atlanta, Well, they didn't set a line on Atlanta Carolina. I mean the early look at it was what like seven and a half? Is that what you have on the Carolina?

And Atlanta needs to win and a bucks long.

Yeah, see, I have eight Okay, going into this weekend, Atlanta controlled its own destiny. They win their last two, they win the NFC South, they're going to They're going to the playoffs.

Now, unfortunately, the Bucks are playing the Saints. You really think there's going to be a Bucks loss to the Saints.

I watched a lot of the Saints games. Yeah, not good, not.

Good at and Alvin Kamara was injured and the guy who they started wound up getting injured at running back.

So we'll clean this up. But as we go to break, my feeling is or at least the hunt here. The only things up for grabs in weeks eighteen are the AFC North champion, even though both Baltimore and Pittsburgh are in but they played. The division winner will be decided next week, the final wild card spot in the AFC with the Broncos Dolphins are all still alive, and then essentially the champion of the NFC South. That's it, right, Oh, and the one seed in the NFC because the Vikings and the Lions will play each other and whoever wins that is the North champion and the number one overall seed. Right if the Lions can lose and still get that, right, It was Willard, Is the game.

Tomorrow insignificant for the Lions and is that what you're saying?

Well, yeah, because they win, even if they don't care about it and lose, that they'd be one game behind Minnesota with one game to go. But they've already beaten Minnesota, right, so yeah, the tiebreaker. If they win the Vale, they would.

Technically they could rest everybody. I know Campbell said he wasn't going to do that. They're playing everybody and they were going in to win, But technically you could rest everybody going on the road and have him healthy for the final game.

It looks like it is official. Next Sunday night will indeed be Vikings and Lions. No shock whatsoever on that front. I don't I don't think that the report about the afternoon games was correct.

Oh think of one of those of the three afternoons.

On the Yeah, we'll clarify that in a bit. But here again, Commanders in the playoffs. With their win thirty twenty four in overtime, Rams win the NFC West and they're back to the playoffs. They've clinched a playoff spot. They're the first team in NFL history to enter their bye week under five hundred and make the playoffs in back to back seasons, and the Buccaneers will win the NFC South with a win next week over the Saint All right, we'll make sure we got that all cleaned up. Talk about the playoff scenarios next with Arnie and Plank right here on Fox Sports Radio.

All right, here's the set schedule for next week. So I guess that report wasn't too terribly off. It just missed every game that they projected would be in the afternoon slag except for yours. So Saturday again, a doubleheader on Saturday. They're going to take care of the AFC North on Saturday. All four teams are playing four thirty Eastern on Saturday, Browns Ravens, eight o'clock eastern on Saturday, Bengals, Steelers. You like putting that those two games, those four teams on Saturday are and he seeing that what happens there really doesn't affect anything else outside of seeding in the ages, right.

Right, So that's I mean, yes, that's exactly the way it should be, because you don't want to have the Chiefs, Broncos, Dolphins, Jets, or any of those games on this Saturday.

That's free, okay. And again, what's at stake there is the AFC North because both teams, the Ravens and the Steelers, still are alive for it. And if I understand correctly, if the Steelers win, they still might not win the division because it would go down to like the fifth tiebreaker. Oh geez, because they would have split their games. So anyway, that's for another time. We're rolling through the schedule. There's your Saturday doubleheader, your Saturday double header, Browns Ravens, the early game, Bengals, Steelers, they're late the Sunday one o'clock Eastern times lot Arnie, a whole lot of nothing. All right, Giants Eagles, everything is decided. Their Eagles have already clinched the two scene. Bill's Patriots, by the way, interesting note here the Patriots control their own destiny for the top pick. Now, Texans Titans. Right, Titans are one of four teams that still have a shot at the number one overall pick. You have two games that have meaning in the early window, that is Panthers, Falcons. The Falcons have to win to keep alive hope for the AFC South and the Saints and the Bucks will play early on Sunday. The Bucks win, they're in as the NFC South Champs, Jacks, Colts, Bears, Packers and Commanders, Cowboys. And just talking about this with our producer Patrick Sweeky during the break, there is some seating there, right, because you do have a battle between gosh what we still have to wait until tomorrow night, right to see what the Lions do. But you still have the Commanders and the Packers who are currently tied in the NFC standings, with the Commanders having a slight tiebreaker over Green Bay based on best win percentage in conference games.

How about the rating is going to be in that first opening in the one o'clock slot, or I know, not gonna be affected at all, Probably.

The afternoon window, the four to twenty five Eastern window. Chiefs, Broncos, Dolphins, Jets, Chargers, Raiders, forty nine Ers, Cardinals and Seahawks Rams. Really, I mean only two games that really matter there, right, Chiefs Broncos and Dolphins Jets.

Unfortunately, Yeah, I was just about to say, why would they have the Seahawks Rams as the late game, But obviously that has to go with the geography of the country there for a second. Yeah, same thing with the forty nine Ers Cardinals and Chargers Raiders. That's the only reason that those are the West Coast games, That's why.

And again I would assume this is one of the all time no brainers that we've ever had. Vikings, Lions and Sunday Night Football. I'm sure Steve's digging through the numbers right now. I wonder how many times in NFL history we've gone down to the final weekend of the season, Arnie, Week seventeen what it used to be Week eighteen now and the two teams battling for the number one overall seed, not just at a vision the number one overall seat, play each other in the final week of the season. That doesn't seem like it happens too often, right.

Oh, I can't wait for that one. Ratings through the roof. This is what we wanted. Yeah, you know, thank goodness we got this. After I just said that was one of the more this interesting regular seasons in a walklock time.

All right, So the Week eighteen schedule is set, we'll start seeing more numbers and spreads trickled out. We'll get Todd Furman's take on it as well. But big takeaway from tonight's game the Commanders under way despite committing eleven penalties, including one that nearly costs in the game, the Falcons could not have mismanaged the clock even more, and Atlanta goes from controlling its own destiny to needing a whole lot of help to make the playoffs, while the Commanders are back in the playoffs for the first time since twenty twenty. We're just getting started with Arnie and Plank on Fox Sports Radio Tylo Troe Hour two coming to you live from the tire rack dot Com studios at tire raka dot com will help you get there and unmatched the selection, fast, free shipping, free road hazard protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tire rack dot com the way tire buying should be. By the way, did you have a good Christmas?

Arnie had a good Christmas. I was working, but it was good. It was relaxing and had a good time. I was on with Bernie. We had the people keeping us busy. A lot of people tuned on in. You know, it's tough for some people out there. They don't have family and they just you know, stuck at home. But it was it was good. It was unavev Vollen was a good show. Lot's going on. I mean, you had NFL that day. You know, back what twenty something years ago, there was nothing going on at Christmas and then you started having the NBA, and now look at it. It's it's crazy. I mean, you have all kinds of sports going on now.

Chris by the way, speaking of all kinds of things going on. After the game, the Washington Commanders win in overtime over Atlanta thirty to twenty four to clinch a playoff spot. Jeremy Reeves proposed to his girlfriend Mikayla Worley on the field after the games. So a heartwarming moment. Would you ever propose?

I didn't propose to my wife. No, I never proposed to bet to begin with. So she asked me to marry her. Yeah, she proposed to me.

Do not believe that.

No, that's she knows that it was in this in a book that they wrote about me also, but yes, it's one hundred percent true. She proposed to me. She knew a good thing when she saw Chris, you didn't want me to get away.

I completely understand that. I completely get it. You know it's funny. Bay hit us up on Twitter and said, after week seventeen, I know you should find someone that makes you look as good as the Colts made Drew Locke look today.

Oh he made it look like a Hall of Famer.

And I can't believe that we are an hour and three minutes in and I thought the Jets were a clown show. Today I thought the Cowboys were pretty pretty embarrassing. I don't know if I'm more embarrassed for anyone than what would they call me? Pat McAfee just destroyed it.

I was watching a lot of that game. We had that game locally here too, and what an embarrassment. The Colts are an extreme embarrassment for what the Giants did to them. Plus they ran the kickoff back for a touchdown to start the second half. That was a big game. I was keeping track, but you know, I needed the Colts to lose one game and playing home against Jacksonville, and every time they came back, I'm like, oh, geez, I don't know if the Giants are gonna be able to hang on, but they did. Man, I can't believe they give him so many points discusting.

I first of all, y'all, you gotta quit freaking out about a team that has a top pick losing. Okay, Giants fans, I understand it. You want Shador Sanders or maybe cam Ward and you think they're gonna be that's fine, but it is grown ass men. Tanking in football is really hard to do. It's just virtually impossible. Like Raiders fans last week, someone was, well, are you happy now that you want a game? Yeah? I'm happy that they won a game because they had lost ten straight, right, and I saw the Saints were even more decimated injury wise. I mean, bless Spencer Rattler's heart. He's just terrible. So, I mean, you're like living in this fake world if you think that you're gonna be able to truly tank unless you go out and your quarterback is I don't know, Mason Rudolph or someone like that. Sorry, Titans fans, you got to deal with that right now. It's hard. Man. So everyone that's mad at the Giants, oh gotch I can't believe you won that game. You'll roll on the top pick. Well, let's also take a moment and realize how the Colts didn't do anything at all in that game to start, I don't know, planting a seed of doubt in the Giants that they're the team that sucks and not the Colts Arnie forty five to thirty three, forty five to thirty three.

I didn't think the Giants could score forty five points in six games.

Did you see Drew locks Line his.

Book score three touchdown passes one he runs four?

Yeah, four total. He had four touchdive total I'm sorry, five total. Yeah, he had four touchdown passes one touchdown rushing. By the way, he's rushing numbers fantastic. Five carries for zero yards he completed. He completed what seventeen to twenty three, three hundred and nine yards. He had a QB rating. Well, don't the ESPN won is stupid. He had a one hundred and fifty five point three rating. My gosh, how does Indianapolis happen?

Yeah?

How's it?

It was insane. I kept saying to myself, like, this is the this is the game of his life. I he did this and he's coming through. I just I couldn't believe it. I was seeing out there the culture and Embar's been in tackling. Also a lot of short quickouts and they missed a couple of tackles that resulted in two quick touchdowns.

Listen, it's going to be forgotten because it was overall an ugly day of football. That was I guess you could say saved by how good the Sunday night football game was and the late comeback by the Packers who finally decided to do something with like eight minutes to go in the football game against the Vikings. But I mean that's just the chances were slim, right, They were even slimmer than your Dolphins. Forget about that.

Remember we want to talk about being slim. I'm just going to throw this out here real quick. Remember what we thought about the draft that was almost We said it was impossible. Well, the possible may come true. Now, what's that Sador Sanders and Hunter on the same team. How would that happen if the Patriots have the number one pick?

So how would they end up with the Patriots?

Patriots would take Sander's number one trade. I'm sure there'd be some good takers for Drake May would or not be probably can get a top five pick, top six pick that should be enough to get Hunter, should it not?

Or no? I think they're doing everything they can to build around Drake made this Hume.

I know.

I'm just saying they could if they wanted to get both of them, which we thought was impossible, Well they could.

I think, Well if they take no, because the Titans are gonna sit there at two, and you are you gonna trade Drake May to the Titans, You're gonna give up on him and draft Sanders number one?

You're gonna take Yeah, sand there's number one, and then you trade for somebody who wants to be in the top five, and then you get Hunter in the top five.

Well, Hunter's probably gonna go too.

Oh.

I didn't think he was gonna go that Hunt. Yeah, I mean Warden was gonna go number two.

Well, it depends on who's there right in quarterback and eighty teams. I mean, if you're New England and you're sitting at number one, you're probably gonna have a bevy of teams that want to move up and take quarterback there. So I don't I think your dream has to die, Arnie. I don't think Travis Hunter and Shador Sanders is gonna end up on the same NFL team, And why should it matter? They can't even beat freaking BYU in a Bowl game? Right, Nick? Right?

Put that out Also, I want you to know that. So what's that If you're about Shador Sanders and Hunter ending up with the Patriots.

Again, have you seen anything with Drake May that would make you want to give up on him?

It's not that I want to get How about if maybe I think Sanders is going to be better than Drake May.

Jake May would be drafted out of Shador Sanders in this draft. Drake May would be the top prospect in this draft, really number one, number one, no doubt in my mind at all. And I don't know. I get it. We got to get attention, we gotta get clicks. And I like Nick, but that's one of the dumbest things I think I've ever heard in my life. I mean, even Patriot fans are fired up about potentially building about.

Roundt you a good idea, Mike, Well, why.

What have you seen? How much have you watched the door standers?

Only because you can get Sanders and Harner and I know they they haven't put U big numbers of growth. He's above five hundred.

They Draft Day with Kevin Costner, Man, I mean it's not You're not gonna get eight second round picks to move up to that number two slot.

And then they flooted out the idea of maybe di id going there. This was big happy reunion.

What can I say? Yeah, Okay, well, I mean let's let's go what whatever. I mean, that's that's the chosen one. I mean, that's that's the guy who's got all the hot takes. I don't. I don't, man, I don't have the good hair.

So if that's why we're gonna go to I'm like, hey, I thought that was a good idea that when you started ripping me, I go, well, that was really nick right idea?

Man? Fair enough? All right, to the to the tweets, to the show tonight, because we haven't done a good job of really hitting those at stinking Genius one. I'm at playing show. Everybody should follow us. At Fox Sports Radio, Darryl writes over under on how many games Arnie says he's thinking about going to that he never actually attended. I'm going with the under he never goes to game. Never bets on games. Empty promises, Arnie, empty promises. Go to a game already.

I'm thinking of because if well, Miami's gonna get in, they're gonna play Buffalo in the first round in Buffalo. And could you see the snow coming down me sitting in the bleachers. Oh, that could be just a blast, man, How much fun would that be? And it's not that far of a drive, Chris, it's only six hours.

That's not that bad. You had five hours to drive to go see Caitlin Clark and you said that was too long for you.

Yeah, that is true.

Paul writes the Raiders Saints game may have been the least anticipated game in NFL history. All right, listen here, Paul, just because you're riding on your high horse now because your Bills beat the lowly Jets, I would like to present to you the Titans and the Jaguars from earlier today. If you want to try to talk about the Raiders Saints being not very instant now.

But the Raider's not coming into like what ten minutes before the game or yeah, the flight midnight or something.

Yeah, the plane broke down, done broke And you know what's funny, is that happened to me with Oklahoma many years ago, and it was an eleven am Central time kick and Oklahoma didn't leave until goshai I want to say, it was like midnight, super late, and they didn't get there until one one thirty in the morning.

They played the game of their lives probably.

And they smoked them. They kicked the snot out of Kansas State. Yeah, I'm a writer, Rob Wrights, Guys, I believe it's all about the gambling. Those games all at four to twenty five Eastern on Sunday. It's all about betting. The NFL is a tool of the networks, and gamblers would have been better with the Dolphins as the early game. All the pressure on Denver should the Dolphins win. Oh, I like that idea, Like put the Bengals on Saturday, put your Dolphins in the early window, so that way the Broncos no, oh gosh, if we lose, we're out.

What happens if the Dolphins lose, though, does that game become though? It doesn't become insignificant unless Cincinnati loses.

Before than in the one o'clock win though, well, the only way the Dolphins game would be insignificant.

No, if the Dolphins lost, then would that make the other game insignificant? The Bengals game, the Denver game.

Yeah no, because if the Bengals win, they could get in if the Broncos lose.

Yeah, but the Bengal games at one o'clock also Bengal games on Saturday. Oh I'm sorry. So that's why they are not moving the Miami game up early. That's my point.

Oh okay, because it would make.

If Cincinnati lost on Saturday and the Dolphins lost in the one o'clock window, then Denver would get it in. That game would be insignificant.

Yeah. See, that's why. That's why Rob it's explaining that it's math is really what it is. Brandon writes, well, the Raiders can forget about drafting a top quarterback in twenty twenty five. But other than that, I won't complain about a w but apparently some of our fan base is to them. I say, the only game that should matter to a player a coach is the next one now or ever. Yeah, Raider fans, Giant fans, every fan of a bad team who won games. They're mad because they wanted higher draft. But again, you're looking at two quarterbacks in the first round right now, right, cam Ward Inchador Sanders, there's gonna be somebody that wows the combine if it's Carson Beck. I like Carson Beck, but I don't think he's a first round pick. I really like Jackson Dark, the kid out of Ole Miss. They got a lot of work to do on him, though, I got to study a little bit more. But yeah, I don't. I don't know, dude, I just know.

Whate of the Raiders do they have to get a veteran then they have to ring in another veteran?

Maybe maybe? Maybe, well maybe Is every single starting quarterback in the league right now a first round pick? No? Okay, So I mean you can look at the second round, you look at the third round. I mean Jalen Hurts was a second round pick. I mean it's just there's there's value there. And also, I mean there's gonna be some interesting veterans out there. I wouldn't be opposed to taking a shot at Sam Darnell.

I want to be opposed in Minnesota. So forget about that.

Oh all the I mean, listen, I can take you back to early in the season where all the Vikings fans were telling me that, oh, it's just a matter of JJ McCarthy getting healthy, then he's gonna be the game.

But he got hurted after that. Was it the one preseason game as it was, Yeah, he went out. He was in the preseason Hall of Fame after that game.

Ralph brings up a very good point. He writes, Arnie, technically you can't spell Einstein, Albert Einstein without a R N I E.

That's right, that's right. I don't know why you guys really should be calling me Einstein. I told you that the Dolphins would make the playoffs and you laughed at me.

Well, they haven't made the playoffs yet.

Don't make it. They'll make it.

Are you going to do this when we're filling in on New Year's Eve? Am I gonna have to hear you tell me the whole night that Dolphins are making the playoffs?

Well it's I mean, it's gonna be tough because Kansas City's roll over like the dogs that they are.

So that's a yes. Yeah. I mean, listen, everyone's used to hearing nothing about nothing but the Jets from nine p to one a every single night, So just go ahead and shift that up. We'll hear about the Dolphins for four hours whenever we're filling in. Is that what you're gonna do to me this week?

Oh? Just for three hours?

Cameron? Can the entire Colts staff fire everyone from the coach to the GM? Oh hold, let me try. Can the entire Colt staff everyone from the coach to the GM Watson? The Raiders three years ago, just needing one win in three games, the Texans last year, and the Giants this year. Ar won't even work and the Colts won't be clutch. All right, let me clean that up. I know what you're saying, Cameron. The Colts three years ago, all they needed was one win in their final three weeks, and they didn't get it and they missed the playoffs. Then they had the Texans last year. Blew it. You got the Giants this year. Blow it. I mean, this is three eight years where they have a shot to make the playoffs. Now again, there was a lot that had to happen this year, but holy smokes, Arnie, I mean, Anthony Richards is not even out there playing Joe Flacco. You got Pat McAfee. Pat McAfee is the most popular guy in the media right now, basically calling them all a bunch of slackers and scrubs and calling for everyone to be fired to basically clean house.

I thought for sure they were gonna be able to run the table. An easy victory against the Giants, who I thought, we're gonna roll over for that number one pick. At home against Jacksonville, who's really nobody except they won today. I thought like, well, they they've got this. It's gonna be too tough. I mean, look, maybe Denver loses, but I can't expect the Colts to roll over to And they just did.

Absolutely absolutely did. Mister Nobody added to that, said the Colts. That's the same team that needed one win to get in the playoffs and lost to Jacksonville.

Yeah, that was a Jacksonville game, That's what it was.

Well, the Raiders were the first team that beat him. The Raiders beat him. Markson Wentz was their quarterback. They've been through some quarterbacks. They had Philip Rivers, they had Carson Wentz in there for a while, trapped Anthony Richardson, I got Joe Flack. I think there was a Gardner Minshew season in there somewhere.

I'm gonna need Carson Wentz. Then this next week, how do you feel about that. I'm okay with that compared to some of the garbage I've seen at backup.

Meanwhile, mister Nobody added like the Falcons, the Cults are just not a good franchise. That's pretty cold, isn't it? Not a good franchise? Would you go that far with Indianapolis?

Absolutely? I would?

Okay?

All right, Well, we're coming to live.

The way I told with all the rumors about I was going to ask you about your raiders getting rid of your coach. He just inserts all over the place.

Yeah, I know, it's everywhere. Usually when there's that much smoke, there's something to it. So we'll see. I guess Rabel's going to be the guys.

Rady has a relationship with Tom Brady.

I guess yeah. He was so great in his final two years in Tennessee. Let's go do that, all right. We are comedy live from the tire Racked dot Com studios. Follow him on Twitter at Todd Furman. We were talking about the challenge through out of majority of the first hour, Todd, of these week eighteen lines and trying to find some value. Why is there this need to get them out so quickly? Like in other words, can they take some time to figure like they do in college basketball, to figure out who's gonna play and who is and why is there always this push you get these lines out as quickly as you can.

Oh, I think a lot of time it's ego for odds makers. They want to put numbers up as quickly as they can. But in the old days this was never the case. You'd have scenarios where they'd wait, you know, sometimes the will Tuesday or Wednesday until they had a better indication of what players may or may not be out there. Now, the games that are up on the board not named the Minnesota Detroit game, where we know both teams will be at relatively full strength barring some major injury tomorrow night. For the Lions, you're going to take significantly smaller limits. And I think with a lot of these teams, whether it's the Rams who get in by virtue of the Commanders win, or you know, even a team like the Pittsburgh Steelers who may know their fate at least from a division standpoint, while seating is still up for graps. You're not sure what these rosters are going to look like, so it becomes a waiting game, and professional betters will do everything they can to try and get their money in the best way they know how and hope that all the dominoes fall in that particular direction.

Let me ask you this, because wouldn't it be behoove you two? And I'm trying to think if I'm doing this right, to bet Cincinnati, and then if Pittsburgh has nothing to play for, to bet Pittsburgh, and then if it's found out Pittsburgh has nothing to play for, try to middle the game and take Cincinnati. That might make it sense, you're todd or.

What you know?

I think Pittsburgh goes in you know, guns of blazing for this game, because even if the Ravens win in the early time slot on Saturday, which the number suggests, they will as an eighteen point favorite, which has the potential to be the biggest number that we've seen in the NFL regular season games so far this year. The Steelers don't want to fall to that sixth spot because that would mean facing a division rival on the Baltimore Ravens in the three to six matchup. We're a win against the Cincinnati Bengals not only would keep the Bengals on the outside looking in even if they got help, but would send the Steelers to Houston for a much more manageable game Wildcard weekend than playing a familiar foe. So a lot of those things are worth thinking about, and we still don't know. For the Houston Texans, for example, you know, if Tamiko Ryans will sit a lot of his players like the betting market suggests, or they want to build some momentum given the relatively lackluster performance that we saw on Christmas against the Kansas City Chiefs.

How tough is this process?

Todd?

Do you tapping sources like how are you figuring out what coaches will do whenever they are vague about there's the CBS report and everyone jumps on it today. That's like the Chiefs go to rest their players, but no one else has said any thanks up, Jonathan Jones, and then everyone piles on that report. I'm just I'm wondering how intense, how in depth do you feel like you need to go to get a good feel on who's in and who's out, and who's going to play and who is it.

It's a great question and one that you grapple with all the time, no matter how long you've done this. In terms of trying to follow beat writers that may be a little bit more informed, but you're going to see a lot of volatility in some of these numbers because you may see scenarios where coaches say they're not going to sit guys, they may play some of their starters for the first drive, the first half, and all the various scenarios that are out there. So on some level, it takes on a very similar Tenris preseason games where information is key. But even in an illustration and a college example yesterday, I mean watching the way that people bet the Miami Iowa State second half. They had minimal indication that cam Ward was going to be on the bench for the final thirty minutes of his collegiate career. So there's always an element of an unknown, and sometimes you're never going to be able to get inside the ex's and o's in the mind of a head coach, whether it be at the college level or pro level, trying to get and edges it better.

So Todd, what do you do? Do you take Kansas City plus the nine and then will my Dolphins make the playoffs? What do you think, Todd?

I mean, I think the Dolphins are gonna need a little bit of help. But would shock you at all, Arnie if, even if Kansas City ends up going into Denver and pulling it out right upset as a nine and a half point underdog, that the Dolphins would lose themselves to the Jets, because it's just the way those two franchises do business. Let's see if Tua gets back. I mean, we know he didn't go today and Tyler Huntley looks the part'll be it against Hi much Maulain Browns team, but maybe the Jets show a little bit more fight in the regular season finale than waving the white flag like they did today against the Bills, spotting Buffalo of forty point lead before the Jets decided they'd finally get on the scoreboard with two meaningless touchdowns in the final few minutes of the game.

So watching what should have been Raiders quarterback Michael Pinnock's spin it tonight kind of hurts a little bit. I won't lie to you, but your boots on the ground in Vegas right now, and I know everyone's matter. How dare they lose or win two games in a row when they lost ten straight? But I'm thinking coaching, he's not going to get another year, is he. Antonio Pier is probably going to be the first coach fired whenever Black Monday rolls around, isn't he?

I mean, I would think unless the Raiders want to be a glutton for punishment, or you know, if Antonio Pierce is going to play the role of Bill Murray and Groundhog Day, we can do all of this again and watch the Raiders win meaningless football games in December that hurt their draft position. But there are a lot of teams across the league today that were intent on sliding further down in the draft, and the one that probably did the most time with them was the New York Giants. Yes, playing for pride is one thing, not to become the first team in NFL history to go ow to nine year home games. But suddenly the Giants draft Capital of being the number one pick in the draft, they now fall the four and you begin to wonder how some of those other dominoes will fall as the Giants begin their quest to identify who they think can be the franchise quarterback at the top of this year's draft.

Ton how we look in for the college football playoff? Is there gonna be a lot of money I'm assuming being bet this week Penn State Boys. He starts us off for the love and a half points spread, love boising that. I think that's many points.

They have big.

Games across the board, and I think it's what all of us college football fans are looking forward to. I don't think I'm going out on a limb to say that the two games that go late on Wednesday are going to be the marquee games of the weekend. The number of books I've spoken to Ohio State Oregon generating the most handled now and with all of the liability and the folks that are looking to try and reinvest, that'll end up being that Notre Dame Georgia game. So you kind of have a few appetizers with the so called higher seeds that are laying double digits and Penn State excuse me, a ten and a half eleven point favorite, followed up by the early kick on Year's Day with Texas actually coming down from a peak of minus fourteen into that twelve and a half range before Ohio State, Oregon and Notre Dame Georgia kickoff. But as far as money movement, we've seen money come in on the Sun Devils, Like I said when they got to fourteen, not a whole lot in the way of money that's showing up in the Penn State, Boise State game. Number dad open as low as nine and a half, and you saw a little bit of support for the favorite there Ohio State Oregon number hovering between two two and a half, but a little bit of over money. And then the Notre Dame Georgia game actually saw some over money come in earlier today. Immediately some of those better prices were snatched up, and I think that's going to be a real battle in terms of what side attracts the most respect from professional better.

You surprised that Notes or Dame then get a lot more money because of the quarterback situation with Georgia.

I'm not given the pedigree with Georgia and some of the skepticism about Notre Dame. I mean, people look at what they've done in the College Football Playoff in the past and some of these marquee games. Yes they were the dominant side against Indiana, but I don't really believe that has people bring with confidence and then you lose your sack leader along that defensive line in Riley Mills. I think this will be a fascinating chess match amongst head coaches because Al Golden is going to have to find some creative ways to put that undersized defensive line in a position where they can use their speed in finesse against the Georgia offensive line. That's trending in the right direction. But on the flip side of things, this Georgia offense has a lot of questions they have to answer. I mean, for the first time in a long time, you don't have a true belcow back. Even if ETN is going to be healthier and a quarterback that's inexperienced, I mean, has more touchdowns on his resume essentially than what Gunner Stockton has done in terms of attempted passes during just one brief season.

In essence, I think we'll get better games. I don't know if we'll get our upset this week and that we want, but I'll tell you what I'm this week. I should say I think Wednesday's Ohio State Oregon game is going to be fascinating. You got a feel on that one right now, Todd.

You know, if the number got to three, I'd probably be inclined to value at Oregon. But I do think we're going to see a little bit of Ducks money come in. And the public seems to be pre split on this. You know, people suddenly enamored with Ohio State given the dominant performance we saw against Tennessee. That have erased some of the doubts that the Buckeyes left with that disappointing effort in their regular season finale against Michigan. But I'll quickly we forget. I mean, with a season marred by inconsistency across the college football landscape, there's a reason that there's only one team that finished undefeated that was Oregon, and the Ducks have said they're the healthiest Day's been all year on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I mean, they beat Ohio State in their own building without their best defensive player in Jordan Birch, have dealt with a rash of injuries, and to discount one of the most decorated, accomplished, and veteran quarterbacks of the final eight teams in Dylan Gabriel, a guy that you saw close and personal during time in Norman.

Can I start the complaining of the eight to forty five pm kickoff Eastern time? I mean, blank the East coast right, Wow, that's the late kickoff there.

I mean, it's no different than when we tip off the college basketball National Championship at nine oh seven Eastern time.

To punish you guys on these two.

That's why I always say, if you want to be a sports fan, especially one that's retired to masquerades as a radio host like you do, Arnie, we're much better served to be out here on the West Coast than living up in the outskirts of southern Canada.

Burlington, Vermont have great week. Todd we'll talk to you next Sunday.

Always a pleasure, guys. Have a happy and healthy New Year and enjoy the great games.

Your name Wednesday, right, that's right, this is our last show twenty twenty four.

Though, no, why don't you fill you in Tuesday?

On a Sunday? Can I finish? I mean, my goodness, man, it's our last show. You're on a Sunday night. But Annie and I will be back on New Year's Eve and we'll lead you right into twenty twenty five for those of you on the East Coast and those of you in the Central time zone. But I think what Bernie will take over after us, so he'll take care of those of you on the West coast ringing in twenty twenty five. Steve Sager is taking care of us with all of the news notes, highlights, updates. We need what's going on Steve.

And looking forward to the fiestaval on Tuesday night as well. By the way, we've got a lot of football to get to. Can I just pass along one stat that might be the best of the day. Unfortunately, we had the passing of Jimmy Carter today, a longtime baseball fan. But there's a guy who's an analytics and stack guy in Chicago. Jeremy Frank, who's great, and he points out in Jimmy Carter's lifetime, Babe Ruth hit more home runs than any current active player and jim Carlo Stanton has over four hundred home runs in his career and still because Jimmy Carter was born one hundred.

Years ago, Babe Ruth.

Hit more home run than any current active clan.

Wow, I love that we did.

Have in the Sunday night NFL game, a Washington overtime win against Atlanta thirty to twenty four. Washington clinch is a playoff berth with this win, and that makes the Rams NFC West champs. That eliminates Seattle Because of what we talked about earlier in the show, strength of victory is not used often. It's a pretty deep on the list for a tiebreaker, and yet back to back years, Seattle is out based on strength of victory. Last year, the last playoff spot in the NFC came down to the Seahawks and the Packers. Green Bay got it. Green Bay went to Dallas and destroyed the Cowboys to start the last season. As far as the Rams, they still have something to play for next weekend. Yes, they are NFC West champs. They could secure the three seed in the NFC playoffs with a win against a now not motivated Seattle Seahawks team in LA next weekend. We'll see if it'll be the Rams again, maybe green Bay. Green Bay would be what six or seven seed? What about Washington? Will they be going on the road to face a three seed in the postseason? Washington will be the sixth seed with a win in the finale against Dallas. As far as the NFL draft order, New England's in the driver's seed. And if you saw the Patriots play again yesterday, they're earning this. Three and thirteen is the record, but they have in the tiebreaker with the three other three and thirteen teams, they have the worst of the strength of schedule. So the Patriots are number one right now, ahead of Tennessee or Cleveland or the Giants, who were slotted fourth at the moment. Giants had lost ten games in a row. They were two and thirteen, but they beat the Colts forty five to thirty three. That eliminates Indy just for the record as we head toward the draft in April. Obviously, the two Colorado stars will probably be taken high. Travis Hunter playing offense and defense, and quarterback Shduor Sanders.

Miami's quarterback cam.

Ward could be a high draft pick. Let's not forget Arizona's great receiver Ted McMillan. He's going to be a first rounder in the NFL. Michigan's got a couple of good defensive players that could be top ten. Last note on tonight's NFL game in DC. This from one of the stat guys at the four Letter that the Commander's going forward on fourth down this season nineteen for twenty two, best in the NFL. And how about this, how many points have they scored after converting a fourth down? Over one hundred this season, which is the best in the NFL. In fact, over twenty percent of the points they've scored for the year came on a drive after a fourth down conversion. So this is all a little crazy. Washington is in the postseason. Next weekend, the Sunday Night finale will be Minnesota at Detroit to decide that division and decide the number one seed in the NFC. Minnesota won its ninth straight game, beating Green Bay twenty seven to twenty five. Miami is still alive for the last spot in the AFC after winning a Cleveland twenty to three.

Oh, just give it to us to say, you're just saying.

They're not in the driver's seat for that. Let's be out it. It's not as bad as Cincinnati, but they're not in the driver's seat. They are trailing. Denver Raiders and Jacksonville got wins. Tampa Bay is looking good. They got five touchdown passes today from Baker Mayfield and beat Carolina forty eight to fourteen. The Tampa Bay Bucks are in next week with a win against New Orleans. This Atlanta loss in overtime tonight was bad. It drops the Falcons to eight and eight. Tampa Bay is nine and seven. Buffalo clinched the two seed in the AFC and tied a franchise record with thirteen regular season wins thirteen and three. After ripping the Jets, it was forty to nine and mid fourth quarter forty to fourteen the final. Philadelphia clinch the NFC East title with a win over Dallas forty one to seven, and Saquon Barkley is now over two thousand rushing.

Yards this year.

He had thirty one carries against the Cowboys today for one hundred and sixty seven yards. For those unaware, we do have two Saturday games next weekend in the NFL. It'll be Baltimore hosting Cleveland and then Cincinnati at Pittsburgh Saturday night. The Miami Finale is Sunday four to twenty five Eastern at the Jets. Well, Denver is Sunday four to twenty five Eastern hosting Kansas City in the NBA. Among the six games, Oh, Oklahoma City when it's eleventh straight, beating up Memphis one thirty to one.

Six.

The last NHL game of the night in LA went to the Kings five to four over Philadelphia.

Back to you, thanks Steve. As we come to Elive from the Tyract dot Com studios. I was looking over this that I think it was baked sent it in. I know we've kind of picked on the Colts quite a bit tonight, right, but it's it's wild. Andrew Luck was their starting quarterback and then abruptly retired in twenty eighteen. Right, great quarterback Jacoby Brissett, Right, Philip Rivers, good quot Carson Wentz, Matt Well, Yeah, I mean good quarterback, but also where were they in their career? U Matt Ryan started for the Colts in twenty twenty two.

Quarternight, I forgot about foot Bawl.

Yeah, but it was six years past his prime whenever he was Indios.

It's funny, though, there's two quarterbacks on that list that went to the Super Bowl. The next one you're about to read with Nick Foles.

Yeah, I mean, and now you just you haven't been able to find any consistency and none of these guys have really been all that great when they got to Indianapolis. So just a mess, man, are you buying Anthony Richardson? Are you trying to go out and get someone else, like a Cousins to come.

I'm not kidding Cousins, but I'm gonna go somewhere else. I'm gonna go in a different direction. It's not gonna be Cousins. It's not gonna be Richardson. I don't know where I'm gonna go, where I'm going to turn, but it's going to be It's not gonna be one of those two guys, that's for sure.

I'll tell you what'll be interesting. There are two to three guys that have a decision to make on the draft. One of those is Jalen Milroe. And I'm here to tell you right now, if Jalen Millroe declares for the draft as bad as he is at times for Alabama, Arnie, he'll be a first round draft.

He should stay. But the fact that it's such a weak quarterback draft makes you want to think that he'll probably come out. Though he had such a bad game against Oklahoma, but I guess all forgiven for that and somebody will take him as a project.

Well, he turned around and he was awesome against Auburn the next week. And don't forget about Quinn Yours, who has a decision to make. I'll tell you what. Dylan Gabriel. I know that he ended up in Oregon because he didn't get the draft grade he wanted last year, so instead of going pro, he played another year of college. But I feel like he's going to be a guy that might end up being a second day pick, like second third round guy that could get a shot. I like him a lot, all right.

I like your think of Quinn Yours too, because I'm not so sure if I'm him, I want to go to college unless you're just going to go one more year, get yourself, what's five, six, seven million dollars? And then go to the NFL.

Yeah, and listen, a lot of those places that need a quarterback, their slots have been filled in less college in college, right, so you're talking about someone might give him five million dollars. Well, who's out there and need a quarterback?

Now?

You know they it's just it's there, isn't right, Everyone kind of filled their slot. But it'll be worth keeping an eye on absolutely. All right, when we come back, let's get all the news notes, tidbits, and stats from week eighteen, pardon me, week seventeen. Next right here on Fox Sports Radio. All right, Tarni and Plank come to your live from the tyrack dot com studios. A lot of your tweets next hour, including our weekly conversation about what we learned. We did learn there's some really about football being played in the NFL.

All horrible, horrible only about.

Football being played New Orleans, Indianapolis, the Jets, the Cowboys. Anyway, here Steve de Seger to make sure we're caught up on everything we need to know, news numbers, in stats wise.

Good evening, Steve, Hello, once again, I am not the first person to point this out, but I will happily pass along that the Carolina Panthers two years ago had both Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold. Meanwhile, about seventy touchdown passes later, neither is a Carolina Panther.

Baker Mayfield has the most touchdown passes in the NFL in the last two years out of any quarterback.

Baker Mayfield had five td passes today. If he wins against the Saints next week, they're going to the playoffs as division champ. Sam Darnold just in his last seven games has eighteen touchdown passes and two picks.

Wow.

And if Minnesota, which is one nine in a row, if they can win the finale next Sunday night at Detroit, they not only clinched the division, they clinched the one seed in the NFC. Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers of two years ago started one and five, finished seven and ten. Baker Mayfield got six starts with that team, but it was the next year that they drafted Carolina did at number one overall, Bryce Young. Remember they had to trade with the Bears to get number one overall. One of the picks they traded was what wound up being Caleb Williams for the Bears at number one overall. You could say, in an odd way, they had Williams and Mayfield and darn.

And still there.

The Carolina Panthers. Since they got to the Super Bowl and lost to that great Broncos defense, it's been almost a decade them won a playoff game, and in fact, the guy who owns the Panthers, David Tepper, purchased them in the summer of twenty eighteen. Every year since then, Carolina has not only missed the playoffs but always had a losing record. Oh man, okay, let's get to the postseason, shall we. We've got a couple of Saturday games coming up this next weekend. If the Steelers beat the Bengals on Saturday, that means the Chargers game at Vegas the next day means nothing because the Chargers have already lost head to head against the Steelers. Chargers would be locked into the sixth seed before Sunday, ever, arrives. The Ravens are playing on Saturday. That's the first of the two games, Baltimore hosting Cleveland. If the Ravens wind up winning, they win the AFC North Obviously, nationally, the more important game is Pittsburgh Cincinnati. Pittsburgh could eliminate Cincinnati head to head. Denver is still in the received for that last AFC playoff spot. Denver missed a chance to clinch this past weekend, losing yesterday in overtime at Cincinnati. Amazing that the Bengals are still in it. Remember they were four and eight. Now they've won four straight and they're not eliminated.

Ye. Yeah, but I don't like our chances when.

Broncos just need to win and they're in the timing of your cutout was fantastic there because you disappeared right when you said I don't like I.

Don't like my chances anymore. They're a nine point favorite. That's crazy.

You know, the Dolphins need to win and a Denver loss. And as far as the health of tuataga Ilo, who did not play due to the hip injury. Today, Yes, Miami did win. It was a Cleveland but it counts. Twenty to three was the final and they're still alive. Coach Mike McDaniel said, from a medical perspective, playing was not an option for Tua today. Yes, he wanted to play, he said it was not a pain tolerance thing. The main thing is that he not be super susceptible to a much more significant injury based on to fall in harm's way in the pocket. A major factory said was the lack of strength due to this injury, the inability as the Dolphins forecasted to protect himself in the pocket.

He can do exactly okay.

He says he has no idea whether Tua can play in the finale against the Jets, but the surgery is not currently on the table. And also this hip injury is not at all related to the college hip injury that to us sufferer when he was at Alabama. Josh Allen might be voted MVP this year. He had three more total touchdowns today and he now has seventy six career wins in the regular season, which is now the most regular season wins by a quarterback for his first seven seasons, passing up Russell Wilson, He's got forty touchdowns this year passing at rushing combined. That's five different seasons that he has done that. Aaron Rodgers has six such seasons. And finally, for Josh Allen from stat Sync, there are only five instances in history. We're quarterback in the same year as won the division had at least four hundred yards rushing as a QB and five rushing touchdowns and the forty total touchdowns and three hundred completions the only five times it's happened Josh Allen each of the last five years. Nobody else has ever done that.

Great numbers. We're diving into what we learn next on Fox Sports Radio. Oh yes, the Power Hour coming to you live from the tire rack dot Com studios. Tire rack dot com. We'll help you get there. An unmatched selection, fast, free shipping, free road hazard protection, and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tire rack dot com the way tire buying should be. So we're kind of hanging out on New Year's Eve. I guess right, no big party plans for either one of us. Huh no, but we got New Year's Day.

I don't remember if we usually work New Year's Day or not, but not this time around.

So we get that New Year's even that enough for you?

Yeah, that's enough for the one game that night. Will be on the air when they wrap up that Penn State Boise game. And then oh, we got a full slate of everything on that on that Wednesday, So it's going to be fun.

Yeah, if you weren't aware, that's where the college football playoff quarterfinals basically lives on New Year's Day, one o'clock Central to eastern for Texas, Arizona State in the Peach Bowl, Ohow State, Oregon, and the Rose Bowl after that, and then notre name Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.

Can I say real something, real quick before we get things going this hour? Absolutely, rest in peace to Greg Gumbele seventy eight years old. You know he's the kind of guy. Chris. You know, my wife, she's a sports fan, and I said, you know, I heard Greg gumble passed away, and she's like, oh, she was like, oh my god. I'm like, so you really knew him. She's like, of course everybody knows Greg Gumbole, even the casual sports fan knew Greg Gumbel, And of course he was involved with the March madness. But seventy eight years old, him and I mean him and Bright, I mean they go way back. Grizz. It's it's like childhood, you know, growing up and watching those guys as as you grow up and watch sports. But seventy eight years old, and you hear so many good things about him.

Yeah, and you say March Madness, but everything, Yeah, I mean he did everything. He did NASCAR, he did the Olympics, he did football. He went from being the host of CBS, the NBA, excuse me, NFL and CBS to doing games, and he went back to being the host of the NFL and CBS, and then he did seventeen years doing games before I guess he stepped away because of the illness last year.

Right, That's what we saw, right, That's what we heard.

Yeah, and I mean it was kind of funny. I was a diehard sports fan, but I didn't know much about broadcasters. I kind of knew Brian Gumble first because my mom would always watch the Today Show and I would always see Brian Gumble. I want to say I was like ten or twelve years old, but Greg Gumble was always CBS. He was always March Madness, and he was always so smooth, just money man. I was sad whenever I saw that was I was legit shocked. I'd heard him six, yes, but I didn't know that he was six ' six. So yeah, rest in peace in one of the great broadcasters, and then we're not We're not a big political show, but anytime you lose a president, we got to talk about it. One hundred years old. Jimmy Carter passed away today as well, So.

Wow, yeah, he had a good run, no doubt about that.

So sign me up for that. Yeah, I don't know.

That's a long and you're right, we're not a political show. So I don't even know if you want to answer me on this. Did you see after the Well, we were on the air, so I kind of caught it, and then I was reading about it on Twitter. Jane Daniels when he broke a record? Did you see that? What happened?

Did he do the Trump dance? No?

No, no, no, no, he broke a record, right, and it was a record held by RG three okay, who was not a Washington commander but a Washington other name. Why yes. And when they get well, when they put up the helmet, they censored out the logo, they cisored out yet yes.

Oh my gosh. Well it's I'm glad they changed it, but we I'm just.

I'm just saying, I'm just telling you. They they censored out the logo of the old Washington teams.

Well, there you go. RG three. By the way, I'm glad you brought that up, because we haven't had a chance to do a show since the Christmas broadcast on Netflix. At least I don't think we have What was he wearing on his finger? What was that ring? Did you watch any of the Netflix broadcasts?

Yes?

I did.

I thought they did by the way, I thought they didn't job. I thought they were phenomenal. The picture was clear, the sound I don't know. I heard Montsy complaining about the lag or the streaming out being very good either.

Well that's on her and her internet provider.

Okay, because they were in the station. But I thought they were phenomenal. I give him an a plus for everything.

You know. Here's what makes no sense to me. I'm glad you brought that up. Netflix first ever football game crushes it. I never had any issues with lag or re. Everything that happened bad during the Tyson fight did not happen during the right right. It was great quality and I thought they did a good I loved their score bug. For some reason, we're in this world where everyone has to have the score is the largest thing on the screen. I liked it was just short sweetened to the point. So I loved it. Kudos, thumbs up, you know, chef's kiss whatever. And I will never understand how the NFL networks then has brought their broadcasts can look so minor league. I don't know what it is, man, because they had the triple header yesterday and Netflix is running laps around it in quality and in the broadcasting. I mean, it's almost like it's karaoke with the people they let call these games and let the people they let run around on them. What are we even doing, man, You're the NFL network. Go get the best of the best to do it. I have don't let yourt Hey, let's let's go boone to our studio host. Let's let them call a game. No, no, what are we doing right now with that?

I don't even know how Netflix picked their people. I don't like names in a hat, and they were just drawing it out.

Well, they had eighteen people involved in the thing. Man, every single time I looked up there was a new person that was involved. At the side of the game.

They should have just said every instead of saying who's on the broadcast, they could have just said everybody, But Artie.

Yeah, exactly.

Artie's not on this broadcast. Sorry, we don't have him this time around.

Well, we got a lot to get to from what we've learned. There's some good tweets and text that are coming into the show at Stinking Genius. Wan, I'm at playing show. Everybody go follow us at Fox Sports Radio. So Arnie, let's kick it off. As we typically do in our final hour, the Power Hour, we ask a very simple question, or make a very simple statement. After a week eighteen, why don't keep doing that after week see the National Football League? I know this. What can we make a declarative, always correct statement about what you've learned from today's action?

Well, let me start with today's action. The earlier games was the worst group of games in the history of the NFL. It was except except because the Giants Colts game meant so much and there was actually scoring and it was somewhat close. Otherwise, that group of six games was just pathetic, uninteresting football, really not a lot in stake there. It was. It was just horrible to watch. It was. It was a bad Morning Slate, Chris, it was really bad.

I I'll go over the top grip Lincoln Hawk style on you here and see I think the whole week sucked. You can pick out the three good games that we've had, right. Unfortunately for Netflix, as great as they did broadcasting the NFL, they could not have been handed two more garbage games, right, and they were great matchups Chiefs, Steelers, Ravens Texans yep. I mean the combined final score of the games were what sixty to twelve, and the Chiefs looked playoff Freddy, and so did the Ravens. The Thursday night game was then a six to three game.

Oh, just miserable to watch that one.

And I guess you could say the Rams and the Cardinals have the dramatic finish there. I don't really blame that on Kyler Murray, but he did try to throw a fastball there at the end. And we really only had I would say two and a half good games, right. The Broncos Bengals game was great, Bengals won and overtime on Saturday, and then the Sunday night football game was a great game with the Commanders winning in overtime. The Vikings Packers looks good but scores by exactly. Now green Bay had a chance that they could have had a third down hold. Uh, Darnald's pass was a little bit short? Was that Aaron Jones that made the catch in that final play? I mean, it could have got real interesting had Green Bay got the ball back. But yeah, Arnie, I'm with you. It was an ugly slate of game. Is National Football League?

Yeah, and that's not supposed to be the NFL mantre here. It's supposed to be getting better and exciting and who's going to make the playoffs? A lot of jocking. I'll go back to what I said earlier in the show and weeks ago. This is the most uninteresting regular season in the NFL A one.

All right, my turn? After Week seventeen, I know this, we probably have decided that Josh Allen's gonna win the MVP this year. I think a lot of people have made up their minds. But my word, man, Guys like Sakuon Barkley going over to k are on the on the verge of a single season rushing record, right, what Baker Mayfield has done five touchdowns today, throwing for three point fifty nine I Sam Darnold, right, I mean what he's done this year with Minnesota, I don't care. Joe Burrow Joe Burrow now, granted, his team's eight and eight, so it's kind of tough to talk about him MVP from a team that's eight and eight. I feel like everyone's kind of made their mind. It's like the old school Heisman conversations. But Arnie, I I feel like he could really have if you dove into the number. It's one of the more interesting MVP races. And I couldn't care less about season long Award. I really don't, but I'm fascinated by the MVP race and to see if Barkley gets close, or if Baker gets close, or if Darnell gets close, because it's almost as if, odds wise, we've just handed this thing to Josh Allen for a couple of weeks.

Now, you know, Burrows should not be penalized just because the Bengals are are eight and eight. He really should get stronger consideration, but he's not going to. I'm trying to remember, when's the last time we've had MVPs from really really bad teams, really really bad teams in any sport, you know what I mean? There's I mean, I'm sure Steve Carlton was a great pitcher for a horrible. What Phillies team remember that? Yeah, he had like twenty five wins or twenty six wins in a year they only had like sixty or seventy wins. I don't even know if he.

I've got a couple of I've got a couple of NBA ones for you. Who's that Bob Pettitt? He won the MVP in nineteen fifty six and his team was thirty three and thirty nine.

Okay, I don't know.

Kareem won the MVP in seventy six and the Lakers were two games under five hundred that year, so really got to reach. Here's the most up to date numbers. Josh Allen minus three hundred second pick. I didn't even mention Lamar Jackson obviously should have, but that game was Saturday, so I've completely forgotten about it. He's a plus two to seventy five Burrows plus three thousand sa quants plus twenty five hundred. So yeah, this is this is, as you like to say, ov are over. But I wonder if maybe there could be a little bit more juice for Lamar Jackson if he has another big weekend this weekend.

What about say, Quad Barker breaking the record, but he's gonna break it anyway.

Well, okay, question, question. He wants to play in the final week of the season. Right, there's nothing on the line. His offensive line has already started talking about they won to play. He wants to play, right, right, there's no way you play him.

Right, He's gonna play and they're gonna break the record. Yes, you are.

Well, I mean he's got to get more than just like two or three carries.

He's got to get with one hundred yards. Yeah, make sure he gets it right away. I don't think I run every play. You're rady. I want you.

I want you to I want you to win this. I want you to win I win this. I want you to garner this accomplishment. And yes it's in more games, and yes we we have stats from the playoffs, but come on, they just if you lose him, the Eagles are cooked. Man. And you already saw a picket get hurt. Yea, you've already seen Hurts get hurt. I mean Jalen hurts. The next game he plays is gonna be the playoff game.

Yeah. Not people worried about individual stats. That's what's worries me about the Jets and Aaron Rodgers. I was hoping he would get touchdown pass number five hundred against the Bills. Maybe he wouldn't play against the Dolphins. But now now he's got four ninety ninety, needs one more.

All right, where do you want to go next? I mean from today? Just in general. I keep saying after weeks after today, but after week seventeen, you know this? Anywhere you want to go, Arnie.

After week seventeen, I know this, and I didn't know this before. I didn't know Locke could play this good of a football that that was about the best performance I've seen a quarterback go through, could I say, all year, even even over the Josh Allen five touchdowns. That was remarkable. And I know it's just the Colts, but that was a bad Giants team.

That was horrible.

Chris, and what he did with that team was just, I mean, mind boggling. I never saw that coming. I was hoping the Giants were gonna win, but I never saw that many points coming.

Chris. I could not believe it. I'm still in shock, and I'm not even being dramatic about it, not just in the fact that they won the game, but how they won it how dominant they were and then how just the Colts just laid down. I mean, I'm let's trust me. I can't say much. I'm a fan of a team that's fourteen twenty three.

Three over three hundred yards, four touchdowns. That's that's unheard of. That's unheard of.

By the way, Malik Neighbors looking the part, huh seven catches for one to seventy one and two scores.

As I sign this guy, I need a quarterback after.

Week seventeen, I know this. I'm glad the narrative about Cooper Rush being a starting quarterback in the NFL came to an end today. Oh wow, because I get it. He's had a couple of nice starts. I think he had a nine to four record as a starting quarterback. But we can stop with trying to make him a thing. He's not. Bless his heart, he's a great backup. The NFL needs good backups. That's you're you're more than likely gonna play two quarterbacks, if not three, in a season. So Dallas or whomever else was trying the whole may may maybe Cooper Rush. Yeah, No, forty one to seven, which begs my question, Arnie, who did have the worst performance today. Was it the Jets? Was it the Colts? Was it the Cowboys?

It was the Colts. Colts, Colts seven and a half point favorite on the road against the Giants team that just pretty much rolled over and died that they wanted the number one pick. The Giants couldn't score anything. Remember now, it's not like their offensive juggernauts. And look what the Colts gave him, gave up forty five points. They're the biggest embarrassment, there's no doubt of the weekend.

Yeah all right, I've got a couple more. Can I throw them at you?

Go ahead?

Yeah?

Yeah?

After week sixteen, I know this week seventeen, I know this. Let me go back to Saturday, Arnie. What's going on with the Steelers? Like, what really is? I told you when they played the Raiders, thought they were exactly I was not impressed with them. And I wasn't just saying that because I have a Steeler's friend who is mad at me and doesn't talk to me. Right now. I kind of thought they stunk. I did not think they were a very good football team. And that was in like week six, right. They just come off losing two straight games. Well, they reeled off four straight wins, six of seven. Suddenly Russell Wilson is looking like Seattle Russell Wilson. And then what happened when they got against good competition? When they played against the good competence.

The real Pittsburgh Steelers showed up.

And I think they're gonna lose this weekendo Cincinnati too, So they're gonna go into the playoffs in a four game losing streak. I mean, it's probably the recipe for a one and done in the playoffs. But again, Mike Tomlin gotta have a winning record. They're gonna have a decision to make it the quarterback position this offseason. But is this just a case of you're good against bad teams. They've beaten teams with a winning record. They've beaten the Ravens this year, they've beaten the Chargers, they've beaten the Broncos. How they beat the Falcons. But it's just for some reason, there's this other level of this team can't consistently find.

They were really not that high on my list coming into the season, so I gave them credit early, but now they're showing who they really are when they have to move up a step in competition. I think you're right. I think they could lose in the first round. Look, there are a number five seed, but if they get matched up, they'll play what the Texans is.

That what it was?

That is right?

And the Texans are looking oil too. Yeah what a break that is. So that will work out in their favor. If they played anybody else, they'll lose.

All right. And then finally after week seventeen. I know this, But Arnie, this goes back to the Bowl game. I don't really have a problem with cam Ward only playing a half for Miami.

Oh yeah, I agree with you.

I'm just glad he played in the game, and no one really cared about that. You all were nerding out over the pop tart stuff. I mean, that was the real winner in that game, right, Does anyone even remember who won the game? No, because the pop tart ripped off the foil, and then you had him that sacrificed himself whenever he went into the toaster, and everybody acted like that pop tarts were good for you or something for like twenty four hours. Bottom line is, I'm just glad they're playing in the games. I was shocked that Shador Sanders and Travis Hunter played that whole game right, kind of aggressed me for as bad as they got beat But yeah, I don't know. I don't know Arnie. I just I know everyone was jumping on him and it's like not a real teammate. But I didn't really have I didn't really have a problem in the era.

Of football where it would have been so easy for them to say, you know what, I'm going to take a pass next guy up, and you know what, Chris, we wouldn't have said a word if I told you Sid Sanders and Hunter and Ward weren't playing, would say, oh, I didn't even expect.

Them to play.

I didn't even give that a thought. Of course they're not going to play. So you're right, the fact that they.

Played was good for college football, all right, anything else you want to add to our list of things that you've learned after this week.

I will say this. I learned that the Rams Washington is going to be the first the best first round matchup in the playoffs if that's who they match up against, and seems that way right now, Well, we got.

A lot of work to do before we get there on that front, right because as it stands right now. You could have Rams Washington, you could have Rams Packers in the first round. I think about the only thing we know for certain is you're gonna have the Buccaneers host. Well, I can't even say that because the Rams still have to play tomorrow night.

Not if you're Green Bay too. Is the first round matchup there?

Yeah? Absolutely, that could be a matchup too. So you got a lot of opportunities there in the first round of the in the NFC. So I think we got a little ways to go before we can start proclaiming that. But I'm with you. I'm not arguing with you on that front. All right. When we come back, let's hit the locker room here from the Winners and Losers Next with Arnie Plank on Fox Sports Radio. Did I miss anything in the Roman numeral rundown that you desperately wanted to get to today? Stinking genius? Not real?

But BET's looking a little bit better because the Knicks are looking damn good now. Arizona's about to start their easy part of their basketball schedule, going against going against the Patsy's of the Big twelves.

So how'd that go for you? In football?

Basketball is our sport. Were you guys ranked right now, like thirty fifth?

I don't know. I'm literally asking. I have no idea. I know the Sooners are undefeat and that's about all I know in college basketball. Oh and UCLA beat Gonzagath. Football is still going on. Man, come on, you gotta get your priority street. Yeah, I know, I know, I know.

That's pretty much it, though. I mean, it's all football the next week or two.

There's no doubt about that yet. Here on Roman numeral number seven updates on who will get the number one pick.

The Lakers made a big trade. We didn't really talk what kind of a big trade.

What sport is this?

Yeah?

Basketball, the NFL Draft and the number one overall pick. The Pats control their own destiny for the top pick right now. They're the only team Arnie walked into a top five pick. Right now, four teams have a shot at the number one, number one overall pick, the Patriots, the Browns, the Titans, and the Giants. Wow. Wow. Meanwhile, you didn't mention the Lakers trade. It is the second time that the Lakers have traded D'Angelo Russell to the Brooklyn Nets. Dorian Finney Smith, who isn't he like sixty years old? Did he play with JJ Reddick? Anyway, it gives him a little bit more of a veteran presence, good defensive wing and I listen, I'm a Shake Milton fan because he's an Oklahoma guy. He went to a wattso so maybe he can do something to help out the Lakers as well. A little bit of a better shooter. D'Angelo Russell will go down as one of my favorite Lakers to hate. I don't know what it is about. I loved to remember his rookie year. He came in with Brandon Ingram and I think it was actually he didn't come in with Brandon Ingram. Him and Brandon Ingram played on the same Summer League team and the Lakers won it. It's like in Vegas and it was when LA was really down and I fell in love with him, and then I watched him play and I'm like, this dude's got no restrictor play and he's gonna shoot from anywhere. And then he's had a couple of pretty good runs. But I don't know, does it really matter? Does this make the Lakers? It can do that?

Does that mean Lebron's gonna end up staying with the Lakers. None of that Golden State stuff, that's all just bloney.

I didn't think any of that stuff was real to begin with.

Well, I just hated the whole hugging and all that baloney.

Hugging, no matter to the game the other night, no.

Before the gaming get with Golden State.

Oh yeah, that's right. You don't like people liking each other when they played.

I don't like that at all. That's right.

And you don't like you don't like him anyway. You don't like Steph anyway, because if I choose on his mouthpiece and all that, oh I.

Just said, I would knock it out of his mouth if I was guarding him.

A couple of quick tweets, we'll get Disager's final update, and then I'll hit you all the highlights from the locker rooms. Colin writes, Hey, can you guys hear a vehicle backing up here? That alarm beeping going off? That's actually the sound of the Steelers and Texans backing into the playoffs with these losing streaks. Not a bad point. Not a bad point, Colin, the Texans.

I have no confidence in whatsoever I think I would rather take the Steelers than the Texans. Texans, I have no confidence with offensively two points. That's that's an embarrassment too. They're they are You're right about backet into the playoffs.

Eric Rights. I did not realize until Christmas Day how having a Netflix account is like joining a cult. I could not believe how the people who claimed more people get Netflix than CBS or Fox. If you have a TV and a code hanger, you could get CBS. There's still more people that watch broadcast television.

P There was a lot of people that you were Netflix had what like thirty million people watching the game.

That's good number, Elegi. But again, people number these are their numbers, right, I mean, who's fact checking them on it? Like, oh yeah, we got like thirty million people? Really according to who?

Well?

I mean us, I mean we're telling you what we got, right.

I didn't even know that they had that many people ordering a Netflix.

Oh, what would be your guests on how many people subscribe to Netflix? What would be your guest?

Well, the fact that they got thirty million watching what one hundred and fifty million, two hundred million.

According to the never incorrect Google search, Netflix claims to have over two hundred and eighty two million paid subscribers.

Wow, I mean that.

Hey, listen, Google could be wrong. Cameron writes, simple question, boys, that's not so simple. Let me put you guys as the new Colts general manager. What do you do to get this team back to having success like they did with Manning and Luck. I don't know why, Cam, and where's my buddy, Josh. I'm loving the Colts Talk tonight for some reason. I don't know why. Maybe it's because it is a franchise that had been so hot for a while, and you look at that list of quarterbacks and the roller coaster that they've been through and the fact that they lost to the Giants today when they needed it. I'm kind of infatuated with what they do. And maybe because I'm tired of everyone kissing Chris Ballard's ass like he's the most amazing thing ever. Chiefs got good when he left. And now, did I see this right? Every GM in the division in the Colt's division has won the division twice and the Colts haven't under Chris Ballard. That's crazy.

Three years though, of being not only a eliminated from the playoffs, but in embarrassing fashions too too, to teams that you were better, to teams that you have favorite, to teams that you should have beaten and you rolled over. You have to start fresh. You have to get that franchise quarterback and build it from there. There's no doubt, Cameron. Here's what They've had a good running back at Jonathan Taylor all these years.

Yeah, and remember they had the little back and forth with him, finally paid him. Here's what I would do. Here's what I would and I know Arnie would be against this. I don't think you can give up on Anthony Richardson yet, even though Josh Allen had a very funny tweet where he said, you guys know, Anthony Richardson has a new nickname. Instead of AR fifteen or AR five, it's now I R five because he's always hurt. Get it. I would go look in one of the vets. I would maybe sniff around Kirk Cousins. I would maybe and I know that this has been a path before, but bring in someone that you think can really be a good development person for Anthony Richardson to see if there's anything there, because obviously I don't think this guy Shane Steichen's not the dude I tried. I would try to go to hire go and hire Mike Rabel like you tried to do when you hired Frank Reich, and he would probably bring in I'm sure he would bring in a good offensive mind. Does Carolinas don't want to get rid of Bryce Younger? No, I don't know. He looked pretty bad today, so I don't know. I feel like they're trying to do everything they can to keep him, but at least get him right. I don't know if I'm sniffing around Aaron Rodgers, that's for sure. This buzz is building that what the Titans might be a team where he could end up as a as a bridge quarterback.

What a miserable place to be.

I do not want that at all. And then one I know we're running behind to Sega. I'm sorry, I'm sure you want to get home, but I want to hit one more tweet and then we'll be done with him.

Don't worry about the saga. I'll let him know what he when he's ready.

David Wright, Baker Mayfield was really cocky coming out of OU. Do you think that his early struggles in the NFL matured him and taught him to just let his talent do the talking. With his success at Tampa, well, David, I would say his early struggles. Dude won eleven games and took the Browns to the playoffs in his third season.

They would love him back, no doubt.

I mean, he got hurt in twenty twenty one, tried to play through his shoulder injury, regressed, and they just punted on him. I loved what RG three put on Twitter today and I'm not a big RG three fan, but it's like Cleveland made said they needed an adult in the room at their quarterback position. Now look where you are, Look where you are. I don't think I don't think it was well yeah, I don't think it was a maturity issue being around Baker. I think it was finding someone who believed in him. And this is a truth. I'm gonna go to my grave believing this. I think the time that he spent with Sean McVeigh changed him. I know it was a short stint, but he got to the Rams and McVeigh injected him with some you can do this, here's what you need to do. Let's go do it. And they want some games and I think that changed him.

And you know what alsa the off the field problems.

Good question, Dave.

I think really he really gave him a dose of big boy reality too, and made like.

The Odell Beckham junior dad stuff things like that. I think his dad stuff is the one I was talking about.

That that that really probably shook him to the cores a little bit and made him say, hey, I I got to grow up and you know, act like a big boy adult and take care of everything, not only on the field and off the field. I mentioned that was a tough thing for him to deal with with his dad.

With his dad, Yeah, what are you talking about.

I guess his dad and bezzled the money from him.

Well, I mean that's an allegation, right and James and yeah, exactly, But they just sued him this past November, so yeah, that's I think that was fairly recent, but that's what going on for they.

I guess allegedly it goes back years to when he did I.

Thought, you meant no Odell Beckham Junior's dad.

No, no, no, I'm sorry, I meant his dad. Okay, that's Obbs. Something that really shook him up, and I'm sure it did.

When you found it out right, when you found out that your dad might have been embezzling money from you. I'm sure it's a problem, all right. We made great stuff on Twitter tonight, good stuff all the way around. Steve Seger here to put a rap in all the news and notes with what's trending, what's going on, Steve.

I still remember I went to the Baker Mayfield Christmas Game a couple of years ago when he was playing for Sean McVay and they destroyed Denver fifty one fourteen and Mayfield was twenty four of twenty eight passing at that game.

As for the Colts, I.

Mean, if you've seen them in recent weeks, you assume they're going to draft defensive back. But let's just this is I'm not a scout or the son of a scout, but let's just say that the scouts of the Colts think that the next Dallas Clark is in this draft. Because if you've seen the Penn State tight end this year.

Tyler Warren, he's awesome.

He has over ninety catches this season in over one thousand yards.

He's going to be in this draft.

In the game at USC this year and overtime Penn State win. He had seventeen receptions at that game over two hundred yards. I'm just saying, I'm not saying that's the best pick you can make. But what if the Colts get a guy who can be their tight end for the next decade. They already had wide receiver talent, they have a running back. These are not the problem positions those two. They have other problems, and they were on display today. We'll get to the Giants over the Colts in just a moment. But by the way, I did notice Associated Press pointing out tonight that we've had a couple pairs of college teammates who now are thousand yard receivers this season as rookies from LSU Maleik Neighbors, Brian Thomas from Georgia, brock Bowers, Lad McConkie, and in fact, brock Bowers has one hundred and eight catches so far this season for the Raiders. That is the new rookie record. Last year it was one hundred and five receptions for Pukinakua of the Rams. It is not bowers record to keep. There's still one game to go. He has one hundred eight receptions neighbors has one hundred and four, just for the record. Tonight at Washington, an overtime win for the Commanders against Atlanta thirty to twenty four, Washington clinches a playoff berth. How about this from statsaeing Jaden Daniels again in the clutch moments, never seems to look nervous. He had a drive and by the way, no NFL quarterback in the last thirty years has had a drive like this where you go at least five for five passing or better, you're not sacked, and you have at least forty yards rushing on a single drive. That was Jaden Daniels in the overtime as a rookie to clinch the playoff berth tonight. That result tonight also makes the La Rams NFC West champs Seattle is out Monday night Detroit at San Francisco, but we know next weekend Detroit will be hosting Minnesota in the Sunday night finale to decide the division and the number one seed in the NFC. Minnesota won its ninth straight game today, holding on twenty seven to twenty five over Green Bay. The last time Minnesozda had a nine game winning streak apparently was nineteen seventy five when they started the season. Ten and oh, there are going to be two Saturday games this next weekend to finish out the seasons in the Baltimore Division. Ravens will be hosting Cleveland. Then Saturday night it'll be Cincinnati, with still some playoff hopes playing at Pittsburgh. Miami is still alive for the last AFC playoff spot. Miami a twenty three winner at Cleveland today. Broncos yesterday failed to clinch losing in overtime at Cincinnati. Still the Broncos are in the driver's seat there now. The Giants had lost ten in a row, but they beat Indy today forty five thirty three, eliminating the Colts who are seven and nine. Joe Flacco two touchdowns, three turnovers as Anthony Richardson was out with back end foot injuries. Drew Locke of the Giants four touchdown passes in a late TD run over three hundred yards passing here. The Giants just needed to lose their last two and get the top draft choice, but now New England could be drafting number one overall. Las Vegas was ahead at New Orleans thirteen to ten at halftime twenty five ten. The final had the way it's the Saints against Tampa Bay to finish up the season next weekend. Tampa Bay would be in the playoffs next week with a win against New Orleans because Atlanta lost tonight going to eight and eight. Tampa Bay won today nine and seven. Tampa Bay beat up Carolina forty eight to fourteen. Baker Mayfield five touchdown passes three hundred and fifty nine yards. In fact, he had three tds first half, couple of short ones to Mike Evans, and then in the second half. Mayfield was eleven of twelve passing. Jacksonville beat Tennessee twenty to thirteen. Buffalo clinched the two seed in the AFC. Josh Allen had three total touchdowns and win over the Jets forty to fourteen. It was forty to nothing mid the fourth quarter and the Jets had sixteen penalties today and three turnovers. Wow. Philadelphia clinched the NFC East title with a win over Dallas forty one to seven, and Jalen Hurts was out stue to concussion. Canny Pickett at quarterback with a TD pass and a TD run. He left with a rib injury. Tanner McKee two touchdown passes. Saquon Barkley now over two thousand yards rushing this year. He had thirty one carries today, one hundred and sixty seven yards. The late NBA game at Minnesota went to the Timberwolves one twelve, one ten over San Antonio, Victor Wembin Yama thirty four points in the loss. Oklahoma City won it's eleventh straight game, one thirty to one oh six over Memphis. Grizzlies did not have John Morant out with a shoulder injury, but ok see now twenty six and five, they do have shake Ill just Alexander He had thirty five points tonight. Lakers traded D'Angelo Russell toon the nets and the late NHL game to LA five to four over Philly.

Back to you, I thinks a lot Steve, Steve have a great week man, and real quick. This was Baker on his five touchdown performance.

So to the guys up front, thought they protected extremely well. And then you know, obviously our pass games had some guys running pretty open. So because of the staff and then guys making place, so everybody was detailed. You know, obviously we would like to have a few more touchdowns in the first half and set on fulfilled goals.

But yeah, guys were, guys are on point.

Tampa controls its own destiny. Win over the Saints and you win the South. All right, Arnie was on fire with his picks today. Can they check continue? We'll find out next on Fox Sports Radio. All right, Arnie, you got a big week ahead of us.

Oh yeah, you're doing double duty this week, aren't you?

I am?

I am?

Well, Arnie knows the schedule better than anyone.

Well, I scheduled that for you.

That's right, that's right. Bernie Fratto is in tonight for Ben Mallard. Then I am in tomorrow night. So I got you covered leading right up to a full day of college football and then.

What shall I say? Hello?

Okay, you know you could do the show. No, Arnie and I will be back from ten p to two a Eastern time on New Year's Eve? Was that Tuesday night? Yeah? Tuesday night?

Yeah, Tuesday exactly.

Big day coming up? All right, Arnie? What's your new name for him?

Mary?

What do we call it?

Arnie had a dope head?

Oh my goodness, married, don't act.

No, No, I see you see what he's trying to do. He's trying to manipulate everybody as always.

Yeah, you know, I'm the one guy that yelled at us for bullying him. So his burner account. Well, anyway, he was on fire today, so we have to give him that. He got some picks, right, so give him and oh seven bad?

How come nobody's saying, let's take your big segment away. Nobody's given me any compliments for.

The question question when when my when Kyle Shanahan has quarterback that plays well, do you give him credit or do you still make fun of him?

I just don't feel like, why should we congratulate you for doing something you're supposed to be. You're supposed you're supposed to be, You're supposed to have good seven and.

Oh anyway, you bet that I made you a lot of money, well.

Not total on the season, but anyway, take it away. Where are you want to start? Arnie?

All right, let's start at the top. We're going to go to the four or since we're working Tuesday, I decide I'll do the college today and then on Tuesday I'll give out my NFL picks. I'm taken Boise plus the eleven and a half against Penn State. Too many points here, boys, he can score, put up a great fight against Oregon. I'll take the eleven and a half points. I'm gonna take Arizona State plus the twelve and a half against Texas. Arizona State better than a lot of people. Give them credit for twelve and a half. A little bit too much so. Texas offense scares me, especially that running game, but again, love those twelve and a half points. I'm gonna take Oregon plus to two and a half against Ohio State. I was hoping it would get up to three or three and a half, Chris. It never made it to their so I don't think it's going to So I'm gonna have to just take two and a half and I'll take the one favorite, not a big favorite. Give me Georgia minus to one and a half against Notre Dame and we'll see how the quarterback situation works out for Georgia.

I mean, we know how it's gonna work.

Yeah, it's gonna be what gunder was the last name you're in close Gunner Stockton, Stockton who played well in the UH in the last game, I thought.

Got rocked, got absolutely smoked at the goal line.

Yeah, that's when they had to bring in back back in there and the ball off. But I'll take I'll lave the one and a half and go with George in this one. So there you have my picks. Do with them as you please. No longer strictly for entertainment purposes only.

Okay, very nice, Well done. I got a couple of other audio pieces here real quick before we get out Call of the day courtesy of the Washington Commanders in their last second win to.

Tight ends to the left here at the staff. Game's gonna throw forward, he does, They went over, we'll see.

You tell me this is a missile. But say the tellials to Zack Hurts where he's gonna look at it. The clutchdown is confirmed, the game is over. Yeah, oh yeah, let's go buy it.

We gonna say the other playoffs.

I can't decide if I love those guys or if I'm so angry that they're so terrible. If I can't make up my mind right, He's like, it's crazy emotions. But they're doing everything. You're not there. They're messing with their mics, they're slapping, pushing each other around. I just I can't make up my mind on this.

That touchout by Ertz was a six touchdout of the year. That was a two hundred and fifty thousand dollars bonus. He got another two fifty for the catch, and another two fifty for going over six hundred receiving yards and over to another two fifty for having sixty plus catches.

So he goes, that's a million dollar catch.

Seven hundred and fifty thousand centives on that one.

Catch, one catch?

Yes, do you think he knew? Oh?

Yeah, I'm sure he did. I'm sure he did. Literally how much was hey and how close it was? I mean, that was an incredible catch. What a story that dude is. All right, well, Arnie, I'll see you back here. So what would that be on the East coast tomorrow night? I guess right, So Arnie and I will be back tomorrow night. Big Ben Mallor is out this week. I'll be in tomorrow night for you, hanging out with you, and Bernie Fratto is coming up next from Mary for the entire crew. Great job, Patrick, great job Seger. That's Ernie on plank. This is Fox
