An ancient Jewish practice of rabbis was to look for commonalities or connections between passages when a word or phrase was repeated. In this way, they’d be able to connect those words or events, and deepen the meaning and richness of God’s Word, revealing multi-levels of understanding. This process is termed ’stringing pearls’ and that’s what we’ll be looking at on Foundations.
