We’ve mentioned before on Foundations how sometimes rabbis will use a different interpretation of Scripture in order to avoid a conclusion that would rest on Jesus identity. We’re in the middle of a series on Foundations at the moment about the identity of the Messiah and we’re going to look into a chapter of the Bible that rabbis haven’t typically taught their congregations from for a long time in order to avoid some uncomfortable questions.
