The Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs raised concern over the misuse of litigation by asylum and refugee applicants, saying it delays processing and undermines the system. Chairperson Mosa Chabane said the Refugee Appeals Authority of South Africa, RAASA received 2,733 judicial review applications.
