Jesus didn’t want to get crucified. He didn’t want to do this. The physical pain of he crucifixion was unimaginable. However, so much more was bearing the sins of the world.
John 18:1—19:42
The All-powerful became powerless for us. Atonement is to be reconciled. How did Jesus save the world?  By showing us the truth, by demonstrating who God is, He gives us an opportunity to become like Him.
