In this episode Elizabeth speaks with Lisa Sjoblom, the founder of the sustainable children’s swimwear brand Tyoub, established in 2019.
As a fashion graduate, Lisa has held roles from junior knitwear designer to digital pattern maker, garment technician and production co-ordinator, mostly in the children’s wear space over the past 20 years, from South Africa, the UK, Sweden and Australia.
Driven by a passion for finding sustainable solutions to children’s wear, Tyoub launched with a reusable swim nappy and swimwear range made from regenerated nylon.
“Just like the children’s fairy tale, sustainability is like Pandora’s box, the more you open it up the more challenges you encounter” Lisa Sjöblom.
