Who should you start at quarterback and tight end in Week 9 of the 2026 fantasy football season?

Chris Welsh, Pat Fitzmaurice and Andrew Erickson break down the FantasyPros Expert Consensus Rankings for the top quarterbacks and tight ends of Week 9, including the biggest ranking disagreements, streaming options and start/sit decisions fantasy managers need to make before lineups lock.

The guys discuss whether Dak Prescott deserves to remain a top-six quarterback, why Trevor Lawrence has entered elite QB1 territory and whether Patrick Mahomes could disappoint in a favorable-looking matchup against the Jets.

They also identify potential quarterback streamers, including Kirk Cousins, and explain why his passing volume continues to make him fantasy relevant.

At tight end, Harold Fannin Jr. is back inside must-start territory following two huge performances. The crew also evaluates T.J. Hockenson's growing connection with Kyler Murray, Mike Gesicki's remarkable touchdown streak and deeper streaming options including Eli Raridon and Greg Dulcich.
